A premium luxury EV for less than a diesel Skoda Superb — that’s the reality now, and a wake-up call for Europe’s legacy carmakers. While they clung to combustion engines and dragged their feet on innovation, brands like Zeekr raced ahead. The only reason European manufacturers are even in the EV game is because Brussels forced their hand. Now, the Zeekr 007 GT hits the Chinese market at just $27,000 — a sleek, tech-packed estate that undercuts the old guard by miles. In Europe, it’ll arrive as the Zeekr 7 GT — the sixth model in a lineup that’s rapidly rewriting the rules of the auto industry.
Design and Features
Designed under the creative direction of former Bentley designer Stefan Sielaff, the Zeekr 007 GT is distinguished by its futuristic styling and premium features.

The car comes equipped with air suspension for enhanced ride comfort, an optional tow hook for utility, and Zeekr Pilot — an advanced driver-assistance suite powered by LiDAR. One of the vehicle’s most eye-catching innovations is the Zeekr Stargate, an interactive LED display embedded in the front fascia that can project both images and text.
Performance and Platform
The 007 GT is built on Geely’s SEA-based PMA2+ modular platform and will be available in both rear-wheel and all-wheel-drive configurations. The rear-wheel model delivers 416 horsepower, while the all-wheel-drive variant boosts total output to an impressive 637 horsepower.

Two battery options are on offer: a 75 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) pack and a 100 kWh nickel manganese cobalt (NMC) pack, providing a claimed range of between 585 and 825 kilometers under China’s CLTC standard.
A Bold Step Toward Global Expansion
As it prepares to enter the European market, the 007 GT stands as a symbol of how far China’s premium EV segment has evolved — and where it’s headed next.
