BEDFORD, Mass. — Nearly 1,000 technicians, contractors, and other trade professionals recently joined HVACR distributor F.W. Webb Co. for its 11th annual HVAC, refrigeration, and controls dealer meeting.
The one-day event took place March 6 at the Mohegan Sun Resort and Casino in Uncasville, Connecticut.
“With our industry adjusting to a new regulatory environment, this event served as a helpful resource for identifying tools and equipment compatible with A2L requirements,” said Art Osborn, director of residential HVAC sales at F.W. Webb, in a press release. “We also showcased important trends in our industry, such as the ongoing move towards energy-efficient systems, especially heat pumps. Most importantly, we strengthened our connections with customers and manufacturer partners.”
Platinum sponsors Rheem Manufacturing Co., GE Appliances, and Samsung HVAC America headlined the meeting. In recent months, F.W. Webb has made significant moves with each partner, expanding the distribution of GE HVAC equipment to the New England market, beginning the distribution of Rheem HVAC products, and receiving Samsung’s training excellence award for its HVAC classes, the press release said.
Inside the exhibition hall, more than 80 manufacturers showcased tools, equipment, systems, and other solutions alongside booths featuring F.W. Webb’s expert teams.
Educational breakout sessions shared information about products engineered for updated refrigerant regulations and energy efficiency, equipping professionals with the knowledge to keep up with industry trends, the press release said. Topics included A2L-compliant systems, electrification and heat pumps, and dealer programs.
“It’s always a great honor to host so many hardworking professionals at this event every year, and we thank them for joining us,” said Osborn. “We also appreciate the support of our manufacturer partners — without them, we wouldn’t be able to organize an event that truly addresses the needs of our customers.”
