Volvo Car USA Communications Team Update

MAHWAH, NJ (Aug. 19, 2025) – The Volvo Car USA Communications team, under the leadership of Kelly Mason, Head of Communications, Americas has been reorganized to better align with the needs of the business and simplify points of contact for media.

The Communications team is now structured into three key focus areas:

  • Corporate & Stakeholder Communications led by Jacquelyn Johnson, covering corporate, executive, and internal communications.
  • Product & Technology Communications led by Thomas McIntyre Schultz, supported by Sophia Durr Aurori and John Rohr. This team drives communications around all Volvo Cars products and technologies, including product launches and updates, working with automotive press and content creators, and the press fleet.
  • Brand & Consumer Communications led by Amanda Ignatius, encompassing brand collaborations and campaigns, lifestyle press and content creator engagement, and consumer-focused events and activations to expand Volvo Cars’ reach to new audiences.

Volvo Cars in 2024

For the full year 2024, Volvo Car Group recorded a record-breaking core operating profit of SEK 27 billion. Revenue in 2024 amounted to an all-time high of SEK 400.2 billion, while global sales reached a record 763,389 cars.
