The 2025 Corvette ZR1s officially kicked off customer deliveries last week and one of the first owners in the country to get theirs shared this fun walkaround video of the car and even does a start-up and a few revs. VIN 020 was just picked up on Friday, June 13th and it’s the first customer-owned ZR1 review we’ve seen so far.
This spec is a beautiful split window coupe with an Arctic White exterior, Visible Carbon Fiber Aero Package, Dual Racing Stripe with Blue Accent, and the 20-Spoke Bright Machined Forged Aluminum Wheels. Inside is a Jet Black 3ZL interior with Blue Stitching, Blue Seatbelts, Level 2 Carbon Fiber, and the Stealth Interior Package. He also has a personalized interior plaque that reads “Launch Edition.”
The owner offers a walk around of the car and starts at the rear as that is where the signature look(s) can be found. First, he points out the High Wing which is in a league of its own and then points out the Split Window Coupe which the ZR1 is the only Corvette model to have. We like how the middle of the window was done in Arctic White so that it really creates look of the windows on each side of the functional middle.

We get a look at the frunk which is now one giant center radiator, and the owner points out that the soft close mechanism is now gone as most ZR1 owners will probably not need to get inside there all that much. My question from having this pointed out is if there is another location to plug in a battery tender as I don’t see it inside the frunk.
Wheeler offers his take on the 2025 interior versus having a 2026 ZR1 with the new upgrades, and he believes that having one of the first 2025s will make it more unique than the others with the model having around 300 built for the inaugural year. He talks price next and runs us through his window sticker. His ZR1 was purchased through Don Mealey Chevrolet in Florida, and it had an MSRP of $213,965. However, he did have to pay $50,000 over sticker, so his out the door price was $263K!
He says it’s worth it:
At that price I think it’s worth it. I’m happy with it and it’s just an incredible car. I’ve been a huge ‘Vette fan for years now. I had a 2016 Stingray, I had a 2016 Stingray, I had a 2020 C8 Stingray, I had a 2019 C7 ZR1. I had a 2024 Z06, and now this will be my fifth ‘Vette,” he says and add, “None of them ever had any issues. They were bulletproof despite daily driving them, tracking them, taking them on trips across the country. They never left me stranded, so I’ve maintained loyal to this brand and this car.
We’ll be watching to see if he offers up driving video next. Stay posted!
