One of the big new additions to the 2026 Corvette model lineup is the new interior which showcases a three-screen layout, and by now you have probably seen it as it adds an additional 6-inch screen to the very left of the dash.

What you may not have seen yet is a demonstration of the new software powering those screens.

Our friend Justin from HorsePower Obsessed was at Corvettes at Carlisle over the weekend and he sits in a brand new 2026 Corvette Z06 with Corvette Engineer Trevor Hall in the passenger seat next to him. Trevor offers up a nice tour of the new screens and one of the surprises is how many of the vehicle diagnostic and informational tiles can now be displayed as well on the larger infotainment screen.

New to all C8s other than the E-Ray (and ZR1X) is the new Performance gauge which shows the horsepower and torque generated from the V8 engine. Justin also has the car in Track Mode which has a different design than the previous models and we like how those new red and blue colors really pop against the black background.

One of the improvements that Justin noted right away is the responsiveness of the screens which change immediately with each swipe or mode change. Since GM first moved to the Google-based infotainment center, users have complained that there was a lag when changing between screens or flicking the buttons to move through the menus. That appears to be gone.

The HVAC buttons that were moved to under the infotainment center also offered a nice surprise. When the car is off, it appears the buttons are simply silver in color. But when the car is running, they light up in different colors, making it very easy to find the control you are looking to adjust.

Check out the new 2026 interior with me! We go over all the vehicle controls and new technology. This includes the dashboard and infotainment system updates! The unit is MUCH faster to respond to input and seems to be right at home in the Corvette!
