I’m at a bit of a loss for words, which doesn’t really do anyone any good when you’re a CorvetteBlogger…
Back in June of 2020, we caught the start of a custom 1962 Corvette project that was just getting underway by the legendary Chip Foose.
It was a unique project with the C1 Corvette body widened and it would also be getting a custom interior resembling the dual-cockpit look of the C2s. Each of the episodes featured Chip and his crew working on various aspects of the car and it was always cool to sit back and watch these master craftsman go to work.

We followed Chip’s 1962 project for five episodes with our last one posted in March 2022. After that the months stretched into years and still there has been no further updates until now as we see the 1962 Corvette inside the paint booth.
In this latest entry, the car already has a its base Blue exterior color applied (Hysteria?), and they were working on the coves area which would be painted silver. Chip also had a custom treatment in mind for the front of the coves which generally contains the three feature trim pieces extending out from the side vent. Our only issue with the video is that it was way to too short!
If you want to start watching these from the beginning, I have the previous five episodes linked in order under the video.
