V70 T5 dying/slow bogging after warm up (battery) | SwedeSpeed

This is a long one, Context, I’ve owned this car for roughly under a year, and already have sent the gauge cluster/DIM out to EuropeanElectric in TN for a issues including the DIM stopping working and only the ABS and engine light showing. It fixed the gauge cluster problem, but the whole time I’ve owned the car I’ve used a old battery, I’ve just been charging it on a small, slow 2/10 amp battery charger (10 amp is faster but i didn’t use it at this point ) whenever it wouldn’t crank over and it hasn’t been an issue, even driving around was fine. (its not a daily, but a project car hoping to turn into a solid Swedish daily). But as soon as I put the new cluster, the battery was dead (since it was an old battery, i thought it might just not hold charge for that long) so i charge it on 10 amp because i know it would charge faster. This is where the actual part I need help on after charging the old battery on 10 amp it was charged enough to start the car and it was fine until it was warmed up/on for 5-10 mins, the cluster worked and i was happy, but then the cluster gets really dim like low in brightness, then the car starts to bog, like bad fuel or a misfire, the throttle loses response and just doesn’t work as the car shakes and like idk just bogs kinda until it gets to a point to where i have to shut the car off. Then it wont start, and the DIM doesn’t work, and the cabin lights, and that’s what points me to a bad battery, because even in accessory mode, radio, lights, AC and anything that would normally work in accessory doesn’t. I never had a problem with bogging like this before and its not old gas, my thoughts could be because previously i would charge it at 2amps and get a better deep charge, but since i charged it at 10amps maybe it just got a surface charge and just enough to start the car but not sustain the constant charge of the hefty v70, so it will just lose power after a while, (the 5-10 mins i was talking about) because its an old battery. OR do the alternators on these things go bad typically? because to take out the alternator, i have to take out what i believe to be the power steering pump (hose comes from reservoir) and i don’t want to take out my alternator to take it to O’Reilly’s to test it for free just to see that it works just fine. SOOOOO what do I do, new battery, and see if it fixes the issue or just go for a whole new alternator and battery. anyway I’m just hoping its a power issue because i don’t have a sufficient battery, and not because of something else like a ****ed engine. its got newish spark plugs, and a new radiator. Please help if you have any knowledge around this i really need help thank you.
