Tjekvik and Pinewood.AI have introduced a new Application Programming Interface (AP) which will synchronise digital self-service aftersales technologies with dealer management systems. The integration has been piloted by John Clark Motor Group and will be launched across all its sites.
The solution will reduce manual processes and overall help dealerships provide customers with a seamless digital experience.

The API enables real-time data sync between Tjekvik’s digital check-in and check-out solutions and the Pinewood Automotive Intelligence Platform. Dealers can automatically import appointments, status updates and documents.
When a customer completes a home check-in, the system automatically updates Pinewood.AI. When a customer checks in at the Tjekvik kiosk, the appointment is transformed into a repair order, updating Pinewood.AI to show that the vehicle is on-site.
Customer-selected services, upsell items, and remarks are written directly into the work order, eliminating miscommunication and data entry errors. With all details in one place, service teams can start repairs faster.
Automated prompts can be sent to customers via email or SMS up to 5 days ahead of the appointment. Live-Fetch via the API enables real-time appointment retrieval which allows same-day late bookings to be instantly imported and processed.
