The only downside is the naturally aspirated 1.5-liter engine with 103 hp, though this can be upgraded with an available turbo kit

- A unique 6×4 truck conversion of the Suzuki Jimny is currently up for sale in the UK.
- The body has been extended to accommodate an extra set of wheels and a small bed.
- The truck retains the stock 1.5-liter engine, which could be upgraded with a turbo kit.
Sometimes, you come across a project so bizarre that you can’t help but wonder: Who thought this was a good idea? In this case, a UK-based Suzuki Jimny owner had the brilliant—if slightly unhinged—idea of transforming the already quirky, off-road Jimny into a six-wheeled truck. Sure, why not? The result is a one-off 6×4 creation that’s currently up for sale. And no, it’s not a typo, this thing is real.
The base vehicle is a 2019 right-hand-drive Suzuki Jimny, imported straight from Japan. The idea came after seeing a rendering of a six-wheeled Jimny online. And as we all know, the internet can be a dangerous place for inspiration. Enter Mocho Fabrication, a small shop in Broadway, England, which took on the Herculean task of making this project a reality.

The builders added a third axle to the back of the Jimny, using genuine Suzuki parts and outfitting it with all-terrain tires. Of course, the bodywork had to be extended to accommodate the new axle, with an extra pair of fenders designed to match the original styling.
A (Small) Bed And A More Upmarket Interior
The stretched rear end now houses a compact bed with a custom tailgate, while the bumper and taillights are sourced directly from the donor vehicle. To finish it off, the exterior is coated in Audi’s Nardo Grey, which pairs nicely with the black moldings and matching wheels for a clean, cohesive look.

Inside, the Jimny has been given a bit of a facelift, though we’re not talking about a luxury overhaul. The seats and door cards are now trimmed in black and light grey quilted leather, a noticeable upgrade from the standard fabric. The new Kenwood system replaces the stock infotainment, though we’d still hesitate to call it “high-end”. This is a six-wheeled Suzuki, after all, not a Rolls-Royce.
According to the listing on eBay, the model has 6,882 miles (11,075 km) on the odometer, and photos suggest it is in showroom condition.

The downside? Under the hood, you’ll find the stock naturally aspirated 1.5-liter engine, cranking out a modest 103 hp (77 kW / 105 PS) and 134 Nm (99 lb-ft) of torque. However, the owner has a plan, as he’s offering a turbo kit upgrade that includes a Garrett turbocharger, manifolds, injectors, and an intercooler. This would bump the engine’s output to a far more respectable 170 hp (125 kW / 172 PS) and 270 Nm (199 lb-ft) of torque.
Currently, a four-speed automatic gearbox sends power to four of the six wheels via the standard 4WD system. But for those who really want to go all-in, a full 6×6 conversion is definitely on the table.
A Six-Wheeled Truck You Can Actually Buy
According to social media postings we found on Reddit, the build was completed a year ago, but it wasn’t officially registered until 2025. The Jimny 6×4 was originally set to be auctioned on March 1 at the Ascot Racecourse in the UK, with an estimated price range of £40,000-50,000 ($50,500-63,100).
As of now, the modified SUV is still up on eBay for £45,000 ($56,700). For comparison, this makes the one-of-a-kind Jimny between 10 and 20 times cheaper than the Mercedes G63 AMG 6×6, which sparked the six-wheel craze over a decade ago.
