The 2025 Genesis GV80: Who is This Car For?

The 2025 Genesis GV80: Who is This Car For?

Posted on June 21, 2025 By rehan.rafique No Comments on The 2025 Genesis GV80: Who is This Car For?

The 2025 Genesis GV80 is a midsize luxury SUV with a lot of standard equipment and features, a long warranty, and true luxury materials and design throughout. Despite being a strong value, the GV80 isn’t the cheapest offering in its segment. Instead, it sits near the middle of the range, more expensive than the likes of the Acura MDX or Lincoln Nautilus, but a bit less pricey than the BMW X5 or Mercedes-Benz GLE. That means the GV80 should suit a wide range of buyers, from those looking for a luxury SUV that’s a bit less ordinary to those seeking to stretch their dollar without compromising luxury. Overall, the GV80 does a fine job of balancing premium features and driving characteristics with affordability.

The 2025 Genesis GV80: Who is This Car For?

The Genesis GV80 launched onto the market for the 2021 model year, and for 2025, it sees a midcycle refresh with renewed interior and exterior styling, a new display unit that spans most of the dash, and small power increases for both engine options. It remains a reasonably spacious midsize luxury SUV with available 3-row seating. Second-row legroom measures a fair 38.7 inches, and third-row legroom is 30.3 inches. The GV80 offers maximum cargo space of 71.7 cubic feet and 11.6 cubic feet behind the third row. The GV80 can also tow up to 6,000 pounds with either of its engine options when towing a trailer equipped with its own braking system.
