If you want to see the definition of success in a small town, look no further than Team Tensei Spring Showcase 2024. This passionate group of automotive enthusiasts has only been around for a few years, but their rapid growth has already led to multiple venue changes—and they may have to switch again.
On April 7, 2024, Team Tensei took over LP Frans Stadium in Hickory, NC, home of the Crawdads baseball team, and once again exceeded all expectations. This year, there wasn’t a single parking spot left! Every level of the venue’s parking was filled, with cars even spilling onto sidewalks and squeezing between marked spots. And that was just for the show participants. Spectators packed the lots next door, with some walking multiple blocks just to experience the event.
A Diverse Showcase of Automotive Passion at Team Tensei Spring Showcase 2024
The show featured an impressive variety of vehicles, including JDM, Euro, domestic, bikes, scooters, exotics, and track cars. Vendors lined the event selling swag, shirts, detailing products, wraps, and vinyl, while food trucks stayed busy all day with long lines of hungry attendees.
The Crowd-Favorite Low Car Limbo
One of the biggest highlights of the day was the low car limbo, where a dozen or so vehicles participated while a crowd gathered to cheer them on. The energy was electric as drivers tested just how low their rides could go.
Giving Back to the Community at Team Tensei Spring Showcase 2024
Before the awards ceremony, Team Tensei Spring Showcase 2024 did something special this year. Known for their dedication to giving back, they selected two families battling cancer and presented them each with a check to help with expenses and bills. It was a heartfelt moment that showed the true spirit of the automotive community—not just about cars, but about people coming together to support one another.

With another record-breaking year in the books, Team Tensei has proven that their event is a must-attend for car enthusiasts. The question now is—where will they go next as they continue to grow? One thing is certain: Team Tensei is here to stay, and they’re only getting bigger!
