Director at Chicken Kitchen | Entrepreneur
Sheldon Palmer’s journey begins in London, where he laid his academic foundation at Phoenix High School before moving on to William Morris Sixth Form. But it wasn’t just classroom lessons shaping his path—his future was being carved out in everyday experiences, with a mindset rooted in ambition and a desire to create something meaningful. In 2007, Sheldon picked up a pair of clippers and launched his career as a mobile barber. For over eight years, he crisscrossed London, building a loyal clientele and sharpening more than just his grooming skills. Those years on the road taught him the fundamentals of discipline, hustle, customer service, and the power of genuine relationships—skills that would prove invaluable in his next chapter. Then came a turning point in 2016. After months of planning and reflection, Sheldon and his brother took a leap of faith and co-founded Chicken Kitchen UK. Inspired by their Caribbean heritage and their mother’s natural flair for cooking, they set out to create a fusion of Caribbean soul and British flavour—a fresh, original concept that would resonate with diverse communities.

What started as one restaurant quickly turned into a growing phenomenon. With bold, unforgettable flavours, Chicken Kitchen became known for its mouth-watering grilled chicken, crispy tenders, juicy wraps, vibrant salads, and their show-stopping creation—the Dumpling Burger. But the magic of Chicken Kitchen goes far beyond the menu. Every dish is crafted with care, using premium ingredients and a whole lot of love. It’s fast food, but never rushed. It’s convenience without compromise.

Their early success in London sparked bigger dreams. Sheldon envisioned more than just a chain—he saw a global brand. As Chicken Kitchen continues to expand across the UK, the goal is clear: to bring that same passion, flavour, and heart to communities around the world.

From the halls of sixth form to the buzzing energy of London streets, from barber chairs to the kitchen counter, Sheldon Palmer’s story is one of evolution, flavour, and fearless entrepreneurship. His rise is a celebration of culture, creativity, and carving your own path—and it’s only just getting started.
