Residents across Nyanza and Western regions are in for a festive treat as the Safaricom Sambaza Furaha campaign enters its third week. The celebratory caravan continues its journey, bringing Christmas joy and rewards to local communities.

The caravan, which began its latest leg in Kondele, Kisumu County, is touring key towns in the region, including Majengo, Mbale, Chavakali, Khayega, Lubao, Webuye, Kamukuywa, Chwele, and Bungoma. Along the way, Safaricom is gifting customers with live goats, chickens, food hampers, airtime, and other surprises while providing on-the-spot customer care services.

Celebrating Communities

Speaking during the caravan’s flag-off in Kondele, Safaricom’s Director of Brand and Marketing, Zizwe Awuor, shared the significance of the campaign:

“We are thrilled to officially launch the Sambaza Furaha caravan in the Greater Western region. This initiative is our way of celebrating and thanking our customers for their loyalty and support. From live goats to food hampers, these gifts are a token of our appreciation and a way to spread Christmas cheer across the community.”

Kondele resident Jacinta Otieno was one of the many locals who received a special gift. She expressed her gratitude after being presented with a goat to mark the festive season:

“I can’t thank Safaricom enough for this incredible gift. Receiving a goat for Christmas has brought immense joy to my family. It’s a holiday season we will never forget.”
