Porsche has opened its first Charging Lounge in Switzerland at Signy-Avenex, near Nyon, offering drivers up to 400 kW fast-charging rates and a relaxed lounge environment. Customers pay a central rate of 0.39 CHF per kWh via the Porsche Charging Service, and the location appears in Porsche Communication Management and the My Porsche app.

Situated close to Lake Geneva and adjacent to the A1 motorway between Lausanne and Geneva, the lounge serves the Romandy region and transit routes between Germany and France. It is the seventh Porsche Charging Lounge, joining sites in Bingen am Rhein, Estenfeld, Ingolstadt, Hamburg, Leonberg, and Koblach in Austria, and is accessible around the clock for all electric Porsche models.

The site features six charging points capable of 400 kW, allowing a Taycan to charge from 10 percent to 80 percent in 18 minutes and a Macan in 21 minutes. Outdoor seating with integrated speakers and a secure indoor space equipped with lounge chairs, refreshments, coffee, water dispensing, modern restrooms, and complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi ensure a comfortable visit.

Designed in collaboration with Studio F.A. Porsche, the modular structure combines a unified design language with site-specific adaptations. A heat pump provides heating and cooling, and a rooftop photovoltaic system supplies part of the power. The foundation uses concrete only where necessary to support the modules.

Switzerland is a key market for Porsche, with over 5,000 vehicles registered in 2024 and sales growth exceeding 10 percent. Porsche Schweiz AG manages 14 Porsche Centers, a Porsche Studio, and five service centers. The My Porsche app, recently ranked first by Auto Bild for usability, pricing transparency, and network coverage, integrates access and billing.

The Porsche Charging Service now includes more than 900,000 charging points across 25 countries, including the IONITY network and over 750 fast-charging sites. New partnerships in Switzerland with GOFAST and in Germany with Aral pulse will expand the fast-charging network, with discounted rates for Charging Service Plus customers.
