Porsche recently introduced a striking new package for the 911 GT3, and this time it’s not about adding speed or sharpening handling. Instead, it’s a tribute to a key chapter in the brand’s motorsport legacy, offered through a bold design wrap that celebrates a name many enthusiasts may not immediately recognize. That name is Andial, a performance company that played a pivotal role in Porsche’s racing success, including the iconic 935-L “Moby Dick” that dominated Daytona in 1983. Now, on the 50th anniversary of its founding, Porsche is honoring that legacy with something special for its most focused road car.

Back in the mid-1970s, if you were searching for Andial you wouldn’t have found a medication but rather three Porsche race engineers. Arnold Wagner, Dieter Inzenhofer, and Alwin Springer joined forces and initials to create a motorsport workshop that would quietly become a powerhouse. Though the brand has since been brought under the Porsche Motorsport umbrella, its influence remains strong.

The new package is far more than just a decal set. It’s a carefully hand-applied wrap created by Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur that transforms the 911 GT3 into a moving tribute to Andial’s legacy. Buyers will get official Andial graphics, optional racing-style door numbers, their own name above the doors, and a national flag of their choice. The attention to detail doesn’t stop on the outside. The package includes a custom-painted key and pouch, a bespoke owner’s manual case, and floor mats made just for this edition. It’s a subtle but tasteful nod to a team that helped shape Porsche’s racing DNA.

The full design will make its debut at the Porsche Club of America Werks Reunion during Monterey Car Week. Alongside it, Porsche is also showcasing a special PCA-spec 911 Club Coupe, with just 70 examples planned for club members.

While this offering is purely visual, it’s worth remembering the performance history behind the name. Andial was building 600-horsepower air-cooled engines in the early 1990s, a time when numbers like that were rarely seen outside of race tracks. Porsche’s acquisition of the company in 2013 ensured that expertise became a permanent part of its motorsport operations in North America.

Priced at $7,680, the wrap is available to 911 GT3 customers whose cars have yet to be built. Porsche also plans to make the package available later as a retrofit for existing owners.

For fans of Porsche’s racing roots, this limited-edition Andial package offers a refined and personal way to connect with one of the brand’s most influential yet underappreciated partners. It’s a celebration of craftsmanship, history, and individuality, delivered in pure Porsche style.
