Oscar Piastri secured victory at the Bahrain Grand Prix in a manner that perfectly reflects his understated personality. He may not make headlines with bold statements, but it’s clear he prefers to let his driving do the talking—as he demonstrated with authority in the 2025 Bahrain Grand Prix. Piastri’s precise, almost machine-like performance was a clear warning shot to hotshot contender and teammate Lando Norris, who seems to relish the spotlight and the attention that comes with it.
In contrast, Norris stumbled his way through the weekend, starting with a shaky qualifying session that left him out of position to mount a serious challenge for the win. Teammate Lando Norris recovered from a five-second grid penalty and poor qualifying to finish a close third, just behind George Russell, who is under investigation for a potential DRS infringement.
Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton finished fourth and fifth, respectively for Ferrari, while Max Verstappen salvaged sixth after a difficult race hampered by pit stop issues. Alpine’s Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon secured seventh and eighth, with Yuki Tsunoda and Ollie Bearman rounding out the top 10.
Kimi Antonelli narrowly missed points in 11th, followed by Alex Albon and Nico Hulkenberg. Jack Doohan, Fernando Alonso, and Liam Lawson followed, the latter penalized for a collision. Lance Stroll and Gabriel Bortoleto completed the classified finishers, while Carlos Sainz retired after contact with Tsunoda.
