Next-Gen Hyundai Elantra Rendering Part Two – 90% Design Accuracy Expected

Next-Gen Hyundai Elantra Rendering Part Two – 90% Design Accuracy Expected

Posted on August 2, 2025 By rehan.rafique No Comments on Next-Gen Hyundai Elantra Rendering Part Two – 90% Design Accuracy Expected

A few days ago, we shared the first rendering image of the next-generation Hyundai Elantra, known as Avante on its local market, which represents the eighth generation of Hyundai’s mid-sized sedan. Now, our colleagues at Gotcha Cars got ready the front design which is also estimated to reflect 90% of the final production model. What do you think?

Keeping the Legacy Alive Amid Electrification Delays

According to industry sources, Hyundai has decided to continue the Elantra’s legacy due to delays in its broader electrification strategy. This means the next-gen Elantra will arrive as a refreshed internal combustion model rather than transitioning fully to electric, at least for now.

A Striking Coupe-Inspired Design

The design of the new Elantra (also known has Avante in South Korea) is heavily influenced by the Hyundai N Vision 74, a concept car that reimagined the classic Pony Coupe’s aesthetics with a modern twist. The upcoming model will feature a coupe-like sedan body, incorporating the N Vision 74’s signature angular front and rear styling.

The front fascia is expected to adopt bold, straight lines, a sculpted rectangular form, and a striking horizontal LED lighting signature—elements also set to appear in Hyundai’s next-gen Nexo fuel cell vehicle.

The side profile will highlight a sleek, low, and wide stance to emphasize a youthful and dynamic presence. Notably, the muscular rear fender treatment is designed to enhance the car’s aggressive styling, giving it a muscle-car-like aesthetic that stands out in the segment.

Familiar Yet Refined Powertrain Options

While the design undergoes a dramatic transformation, the powertrain lineup is expected to remain largely unchanged. The current Elantra offers multiple options, including a 1.6-liter gasoline engine, an LPG variant, and a hybrid powertrain, all of which are likely to carry over to the next-generation model.

Expected Launch Timeline

Hyundai is preparing to unveil the all-new Elantra in 2026. With its cutting-edge design and familiar yet refined powertrain options, this next-generation model is poised to make a significant impact in the compact sedan market.

Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to follow the development of the next-gen Hyundai Elantra!
