ATLANTA — Rheem Manufacturing Co. recently marked its 100th anniversary with events around the world.
With operations spanning more than 50 brands, and facilities across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and the Asia Pacific region, the company’s centennial was celebrated with diverse, locally inspired events that paid tribute to its people and its history, a Rheem press release said.
These gatherings are the latest highlights of Rheem’s centennial year. The company began 2025 by unveiling its refreshed brand, “Engineered for Life,” to reflect Rheem’s century-long legacy of delivering products for everyday life. The milestone year also featured the debut of new solutions at the AHR Expo and the National Association of Home Builders’ International Builders Show.
Rheem’s commitment to investing in the industry was reinforced at the 2025 Pro Partner International Conference, which broke attendance records as thousands of global partners aligned under the theme, “Next Starts Now,” the press release said. On Earth Day, Rheem released its sixth annual Sustainability Progress Report, announcing that several of its goals are ahead of schedule, including a line of products that met a 50% greenhouse gas reduction, and that all manufacturing sites included in the initial program launch in 2019 had achieved zero-waste-to-landfill status. In late June, the company partnered with Atlanta Habitat for Humanity to sponsor a home build and dedication.
“These celebrations represent a testament to Rheem’s enduring values, strong culture, and the dedicated global teams, encompassing nearly 15,000 employees worldwide, who drive continued success,” said Dipa Homer, executive vice president of global human resources and communications at Rheem. “We are incredibly proud of our legacy and the people who have shaped Rheem’s journey over the past century.”
Teams across continents marked Rheem’s centennial with events that reflected the company’s core values of innovation, collaboration and the pursuit of excellence, the company said.
Rheem will continue its centennial celebration throughout 2025. Employees around the world will contribute to a time capsule that will depict the current state of the company, including its family of brands and business units. The capsule will be sealed in December and displayed at Rheem’s corporate headquarters for the next 25 years, to be opened in 2050.
