Mercedes will present the new Mercedes GLC EV in a world premiere at the Munich IAA Mobility 2025 show. The Mercedes GLC EV is the first model built on the new dedicated MB.EA electric platform, which will also underpin the future C-Class EV. You can read more about the new Mercedes GLC EV here.
The second major highlight at IAA Mobility is the new Mercedes CLA Shooting Brake, the first electric station wagon in Mercedes history. It is built on the multi-powertrain MMA platform, which also underpins the CLA and the upcoming GLA and GLB SUVs. You can read more details about the CLA Shooting Brake here.
Alongside the CLA Shooting Brake, Mercedes will also showcase the new Mercedes CLA in both electric and mild-hybrid versions.
Another new model is the all-electric Mercedes VLE van, which will debut in 2026 on the VAN.EA platform. The Mercedes VLE will launch initially with electric propulsion, with a mild-hybrid version to follow later.
Additionally, Mercedes will showcase at the “Summit” in Munich’s Messe München exhibition center the AMG GT XX concept, which previews the future Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe with electric propulsion, built on the high-performance dedicated AMG.EA electric platform.
Mercedes models will be on display in the “Open Space” at the Apothekenhof and in Hall B3 from September 9 to 14, 2025.
Visitors can experience the brand’s MB.DRIVE ASSIST PRO system with point-to-point automated driving functions during co-drives in a specially prepared CLA.
