Today was the official launch of a strategic collaboration between Mercedes-Benz Malaysia and Malaysia Aviation Group ( the people who manage Malaysia Airlines – MAS) where the parties have entered into an arrangement to enhance luxury services, particularly the Malaysia Airlines Private Terminal Transfer Service at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).. Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has agrred to provide a fleet of its flagship models, which includes the S 580 e Plug-in Hybrid and all-electric EQS 500 4MATIC for Malaysia Airlines’ Private Terminal Transfer Service.
The collaboration offers exclusive privileges, including specially-curated #MyMercedesRewards on selected Mercedes-Benz models, access to exclusive lifestyle events, luxury travel services, and seamless airport terminal transfers for MAS Enrich Platinum members, Business Suite, and Business class passengers travelling with Malaysia Airlines, with extension to new Mercedes-Benz customers starting 1 st March 2025. The collaboration was unveiled at an event held at Hap Seng Star Setia Alam, showcasing a shared commitment to unparalleled luxury and convenience, as well as most importantly, the cars involved.
As part of the arrangement, from 16 th January 2025, Malaysia Airlines will feature a fleet of luxury sedans from Mercedes-Benz Malaysia for its Private Terminal Transfer Service. The fleet includes Mercedes-Benz S 580 e Plug-in Hybrid sedans and all-electric Mercedes-Benz EQS 500 4MATIC models. This 24-hour service will facilitate seamless transfers for eligible passengers between KLIA Terminal 1’s Main Terminal and the Satellite Building. Those that have been using Malaysia Airline’s transfer services would already be aware of this arrangement as prior to this, the airline has been utilising another luxury vehicle for ferrying their premium flyers in KLIA. So this addition is a good one and now brings forth the Three Pointed Star into this arrangement. This adds even more luxury and more aspirational experience for flyers to experience in KLIA.
