Melbourne’s specialised electric vehicle motor show is set to return for a third year, following a successful Sydney event that saw over 30,000 patrons attend.

The organisers of the Melbourne International EV AutoShow have confirmed that the specialised electrified vehicle show will return for a third year in Melbourne.

Future Drive, the event’s organisers, have confirmed that over 100 vehicles will be on display with everything from exotic PHEVs and EVs, including the Ferrari 296 GTB and SF90, and Rolls Royce Spectre among the confirmed vehicles.

From a more mainstream angle, the Melbourne International EV AutoShow has also confirmed vehicles including the Audi Q4 e-tron and Q6 e-tron, Farizon SV and F1E commercial vehicles), Kia EV3, Leapmotor C10, Polestar 4, Smart #1 and #3, and Xpeng G6 will be on display.

Test drives of select vehicles will be available on site, along with exhibitors providing financing and leasing services, home charging solutions, and commercial fast charging providers.

“Future Drive is proud to bring the show back to Melbourne,” said Ray Evans, CEO of Future Drive AutoShows.

“With growing government support and new incentives accelerating EV adoption, there’s never been a better time for individuals and businesses alike to explore the benefits of switching to cleaner, smarter transport.”

Along with test drive opportunities and interactive product displays, the main stage will feature daily talks and panel discussions from EV experts and industry leaders.

The success of the Sydney event in November 2024 with over 30,000 attendees compares to the 45,000 attendees for the recent and unrelated Melbourne Motor Show held in April 2025, which encompassed both EV and internal combustion vehicles along with aftermarket suppliers.

The Melbourne International EV AutoShow will be held at Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre between June 27 and June 29, 2025.

Tickets start from $40 for standard entry or $35 for concession passes and are available now through Ticketmaster or from futuredriveauto.au.
