Maserati celebrates its rich history at 1000 Miglia.

One of the most historic manufacturers in the automotive industry, Maserati has spent an incredibly long time defining Italian luxury automotive excellence with its beautiful vehicles that combine sumptuous appointments with spirited driving character. While today’s Maserati lineup consists of luxury SUVs, supercars, track-ready machines, and stunning grand tourers, the brand has roots deeply planted in the motorsport world, with one of the historic races Maserati participated in being the Mille Miglia, a legendary challenge that took place in Italy.

This past weekend, Maserati took part in this year’s historic recreation of the Mille Miglia, bringing its classic A6 GCS/53 race car, which finished in 49th place overall in the race. The journey brought the historic car through some of Italy’s most picturesque and iconic vistas, along with other modern Maserati models at the event, all there to celebrate the heritage of the Mille Miglia and the 100th anniversary of the legendary Maserati Trident logo.

The GranCabrio, the GranTurismo Trofeo, and the Grecale Trofeo all participated, adorned in liveries that paid homage to legendary Maseratis of the past. The Grecale Trofeo’s Rose Gold paintwork referenced the 1931 Tipo 26 C, which was the first Maserati to take part in the Mille Miglia and won its class. Verde Giada, the color that the GranCabrio wore, referenced the 1936 Tipo 4CS, a car that dominated the race’s 1100-cc multiple times between 1932 and 1936. The GranTurismo Trofeo wore Blu Emozione, a color that paid homage to the A6GCS/53 that finished second overall and first in its class at the 1953 Mille Miglia, and won again in 1955. With its incredible lineup today, as well as its rich heritage, Maserati’s presence at the 2025 1000 Miglia was a celebration of over a century of automotive excellence.’
