ANNANDALE, Minn. — The Malco Group, a manufacturer of tools for the HVACR and building construction trades, has opened nominations for its national Trade Pro of the Year Award program.
Now in its ninth year, the Trade Pro of the Year Award recognizes outstanding trade professionals in the U.S. who are dedicated to the HVACR industry or building construction industry, as well as to on-the-job safety and giving back to their communities, a press release from Malco said.
The top five winners from throughout the U.S. will receive $1,000 worth of products of their choosing from The Malco Group, including from brands like Unilite, C&D Valve, Beckett, ACE Chemical, and Malco Tools. All qualifying trade professionals who are nominated will receive a Malco cap. Trade pros are encouraged to self-nominate, or nominate a fellow professional, for the honor.
“HVACR and building construction professionals do expert work across the country, and The Malco Group wants to celebrate their accomplishments,” said Rebecca Talbot, vice president of marketing at The Malco Group. “These outstanding individuals deserve recognition of their exceptional work in their profession.”
As a supporter and advocate of careers in the trades, The Malco Group donates significant quantities of in-kind products and apparel annually to a variety of skilled trades education programs, competitions, and events across the country, including high school, post-secondary technical and apprenticeship programs, regional apprenticeship contests, and SkillsUSA state and national conferences.
To nominate yourself, or another technician based in the U.S. who has made a difference in your community, start by clicking here. Entries will be accepted until Friday, June 27, and winners will be announced in July.
