Listen to host Eric Dye & guest Grant Stahla discuss the following:
(Host Eric Dye) Hey, excited to have you back. Love what you’re doing and what you’re offering. So let’s get right into things in here and from our last conversation, you can feel the luxury in the services that you offer, offering luxury on demand and looking at restroom trailers for Denver weddings in Pueblo events as well. So tell me, why are luxury trailers popular for Denver weddings today?
(Guest Grant Stahla) Oh boy. Why are restroom trailer’s not popular? I mean, I don’t know. So imagine your wedding day and you’re out up on a mountain. You’re at this incredible venue. You maybe have 300 of your favorite friends and closest family there, and your venue is little. It’s maybe it’s in a barn and there’s one or two restrooms. You have all of the other things figured out. Your cake. Your linens, maybe your tent, but there’s a huge line for the bathroom and your grandma is not happy about it. Well, we’re here to help serve that need. We are there to make it so that you have ample restroom stalls, so you don’t need to worry about the bathroom for the wedding. We are there to make it so that you don’t have to worry about the gross porta potties smell or or the extra hot or extra cold you get when you’re when you’re in a plastic port, a potty. So those are some of the reasons why people choose us for restroom trailer and and shower trailer needs in Denver and Colorado. You’re you’re going to experience a luxury high end restroom where you can go in there, you have a big full size mirror with a big counter top and running water. An actual real toilet that flushes and you have a sound system in there in a private stall. So when you’re looking your best in your tuxedo or your dress, you’re able to to get refreshed and make sure you show up well when you have all of your friends and all of your family there at one spot, all at the same time.
(Host Eric Dye) Makes a lot of sense. And you certainly created a nice, vivid picture there. How do you customize trailers for upscale events? Get into that just a little bit.
(Guest Grant Stahla) Yeah, so each event is different. Each person is different and what you’re looking for when you have your wedding in Colorado or in Denver is different.
What’s your goal with this event? Are you trying to have what type of experience? So we understand the kind of the atmosphere, the venue, the location, the utilities that are on site and see what we can do to facilitate an awesome experience so you don’t need to think about the restroom trailer when you’re at your wedding.
Some of the some of the things that we ask are what? What is the area like? Is it flat? Is it a lot of slope at the location? Is there water on site? Do you have access to water? Is there power on site? Do you have access to electrical connections? How is the lighting? What’s the distance from where people are gathering to? So where you want the restroom?
So some of those are some of the different custom experiences that we can provide. We can bring water to you if there’s no water on site. Each trailer has its own internal water tank so that we can fill the internal water tank and then have turn on our pumps or water pumps and have that supply the trailer with water. Or if there’s water on site and there’s a, there’s water access, we can just connect our hose within 200 feet and you don’t need us to bring water. If you need us to bring a generator because you don’t have power, we have the quietest generators out on the market we have Honda inverter generators and we’ll bring those and set it up so that you don’t have to worry about not having enough power.
You can have your DJ plug in and your crockpots plugged in, so you have music and food but you don’t have to worry about powering the restroom trailer. So those are a couple things you can do to have your own experience with the restroom trailer rental for your wedding in Colorado.
(Host Eric Dye) Now tell me on this one, what’s the wedding sanitation mistake a planner should avoid? I’m sure this is something that is good to hear from you on this.
(Guest Grant Stahla) Oh boy. Yeah, yeah. Oh, mistakes. I mean, did you imagine if you have 400 people show up and you just have two restroom stalls? Not gonna go well when you have a meal, maybe you have alcohol available at the event. Everyone needs to use restroom at once. No one’s happy when there’s a huge line of 50 people. So we want to make sure we get you enough stalls. That’s the number one mistake that people make is not getting enough stalls. So we wanna know, how many people do you have coming out? Are you gonna have a meal where there’s gonna be an influx of people before and after the meal? Are you gonna have beer there? Beer makes you have to go more so understanding that is there gonna be more women than men there? Women, it takes a little bit longer, so we need to make sure we have more stalls.
So I would say as a general rule of thumb, if you’re going to have 150 people, you can use A2 star restroom trailer. And that’s kinda gonna be the Max. If you’re gonna have alcohol and food there, you might have the Max for A2 stall be 100 people. So then you’re kind of looking at a range of 50 people per stall if you have a meal, if you have alcohol.
If you have more women than men, and if you have wanna have the lines a little bit shorter, 50 people per stall and then up to 100 people per stall, if you maybe don’t have a meal, don’t have alcohol. And and you’re OK with a little bit longer line. So then if you have 300 people at your wedding and you don’t have alcohol or food, you might be looking at a three stall restroom trailer.
(Host Eric Dye) Now just out of curiosity, how do you serve Pueblo events from Denver?
(Guest Grant Stahla) Pueblo’s a great city. It’s beautiful, wonderful mountains around there. Nice bluffs. We bring restroom trailers to lots of towns around Denver. Pueblo is one of our favorite ones. So one thing that I personally worked there was a Home Depot in Pueblo that needed a remodel and their water had gone down and so they were working on their bathroom and didn’t want to shut down on the whole Home Depot store cuz it’s the only one within, I think it’s about 45 minutes. So they needed to keep that store open, so we’re able to bring a restroom trailer from Denver within three hours of the initial call when it’s a 2 hour trip because we had trailers that were ready. So that’s one of the things is we make sure that we have trailers ready to go.
In wedding season, there’s gonna be more people looking for trailers on the same weekends.
So you wanna be as prepared as possible and book as early as possible, but we at Stahla Services, make sure that we have as many trailers as we can ready to go in Denver so that we can travel to Pueblo or to Colorado Springs or to Estes Park or you know any, any, any town around there, we would love to travel to and set up for a wedding. So that’s that’s kind of the biggest thing. We have trailers ready to go. We make sure that they’re spotless and clean and they smell good and we’re prepared with the all the cord and the hose and our pickups are ready so that when that event is happening, we are ready to travel from Denver to any location.
(Host Eric Dye) Now, how can wedding businesses upsell with premium sanitation? I’d like to hear your thoughts on that.
(Guest Grant Stahla) Yeah, that’s a good question. It’s not something that most wedding businesses or venues think about. There’s wedding planners, there are wedding venues this would be applicable for. So it’s just something that should be in their line up. They can offer a restroom trailer, package A2 stall 3, stall 4, stall 5 stall. Those are typical sizes for a wedding business to offer their customers so they can maybe offer that to their customers at $2000.00 for the rental and maybe Stahla Services. Maybe we are charging $1600 and they’re able to provide a high service luxury restroom trailer and coordinate the details and provide a great hands off experience for their customers. They make $400.00 profit. Stahla Services, we’re happy with renting a restroom trailer at $1600 for this event and clients happy for paying $2000 because they don’t even have to think about the booking process. So that’s one of the ways that a business can upsell their customers by providing a luxury bathroom.
(Host Eric Dye) That is pretty awesome right there. Taking the worry out of it and certainly of great value right there. Lastly, any tips or anything else you’d like to add or make mention of on this segment of Enterprise Radio?
(Guest Grant Stahla) Yeah, we absolutely recommend a luxury restroom trailer for your outdoor wedding or for your outdoor event. If you’re managing a commercial building and your water main goes out and you need to support all the customers and employees. So I would definitely be looking at, you know, what a restroom trailer is, the sizes, the needs. And one way that you can just have all of those questions answered is by calling in Stahla Services. We’re happy to help you. And yeah, we’re happy to help answer all the questions around restroom trailer rentals and shower trailer rentals.
