A Collaboration with Motorsport Legend Keiichi Tsuchiya
Hyundai partnered with Japan’s iconic racing driver Keiichi Tsuchiya, widely known as the “Drift King” (DK), from the initial development stages of the IONIQ 5 N DK Edition. Tsuchiya’s expertise in motorsports was instrumental in shaping the vehicle’s performance enhancements. The “DK” in the model’s name pays homage to his legendary nickname.
Together, Hyundai and Tsuchiya rigorously tested various tuning parts on local circuits and winding roads in Japan to develop the ultimate performance package for the IONIQ 5 N DK Edition.
