- Lamborghini teased a mysterious limited-edition model for Monterey Car Week.
- Only 29 examples of the new supercar are expected to be built for global buyers.
- It’s rumored to be called Fenomeno and based on the Revuelto’s hybrid platform.
A few days ago, we posted a report that Lamborghini was gearing up to launch yet another limited-edition model at the Monterey Car Week. Now, the Italian automaker has released the first teaser image in addition to celebrating some of the other special run models it has built, or “few-offs”, as it calls them.
var adpushup = window.adpushup = window.adpushup || {que:[]};
adpushup.que.push(function() {
if (adpushup.config.platform !== “DESKTOP”){
adpushup.triggerAd(“0f7e3106-c4d6-4db4-8135-c508879a76f8”);
} else {
adpushup.triggerAd(“82503191-e1d1-435a-874f-9c78a2a54a2f”);
}
});
Limited details about the new model are known. However, it’s thought to be called the Fenomeno (derived from Greek for phenomenon) and tipped to be based on the hybrid Revuelto. This new teaser shows the car wrapped under a sheet, hiding virtually all of its important design details.

It’s clear some changes have been made to the front of the body. We can see the outline of a new bumper and aggressive creases on the hood, not featured on the Revuelto. There also appears to be a more pronounced shoulder line running beneath the side windows.
The new supercar could be similar to the Reventon and the Centenario, both of which had custom bodies but were mostly mechanically identical to the Murcielago and Aventador respectively. Production is expected to be limited to just 29 examples.
Gearing up for the big reveal, Lamborghini has looked back at some of its other ‘few-offs’ built over the years. The Reventon was the first, built as a Coupe and Roadster, with combined production capped at just 35 units. The single most expensive limited-run Lambo was the Veneno, based on the Aventador and capped at just three Coupes and nine Roadsters.
Other important limited models include the Centenario, Sian FKP 37, and the Countach LPI 800-4. My personal favorite is the Sesto Elemento, the only proper limited-run version of one of the brand’s junior supercars. It had the V10 of the Gallardo, but rocked a bespoke carbon fiber chassis and body, tipping the scales at just 999 kg (2,202 lbs). Just 20 units were built, so it’s still very exclusive despite being based on the “baby” Lambo of its era. It’s a crying shame the Huracan didn’t spawn a similar model – perhaps its successor, the Temerario, will at some point in the future.
