Lamborghini has a rich tradition of redefining the boundaries of performance, and its latest creation, the all-new Temerario, doesn’t just nudge the envelope—it shreds it at 10,000 rpm. Unveiled dynamically at Portugal’s iconic Estoril Circuit, the hybrid-powered V8 monster took the stage in true Italian fashion, welcoming media, owners, and dealers for an adrenaline-laced deep dive into what might be Lamborghini’s most advanced machine yet.

The Temerario is Lamborghini’s second High Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV), following the hybrid V12 Revuelto, but it charts its own wild course with a bespoke 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 paired with three electric motors. The result is staggering: a combined output of 920 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque. Notably, the internal combustion engine alone punches out 800 hp at a screaming 9,750 rpm and can rev all the way to a world-first-for-a-supercar 10,000 rpm. In an era where electrification sometimes dulls the thrill, the Temerario doubles down on it.

Journalists from nearly 100 publications and Lamborghini dealers from 56 countries gathered in Estoril to get their first taste of the new bull. On track, the numbers did the talking. A 0-100 km/h (0-60 mph) sprint in just 2.7 seconds. Zero to 200 km/h (0-124 mph) in under 7.3. Top speed? A physics-challenging 343 km/h (213 mph). But the Temerario isn’t just about brute force in a straight line. It dominated the 13-turn Estoril layout with poise and aggression, thanks to its enhanced aerodynamics and new driving modes that include a dedicated Drift setting.

The lightweight Alleggerita variant, which shaves more than 25 kg off the base model, adds to the car’s already mind-bending performance. With up to 158% more downforce than its predecessor and a 67% boost in aerodynamic efficiency, it’s clear that the Temerario isn’t content to just be fast—it wants to be the benchmark. A new eight-speed dual-clutch transmission ensures lightning-quick shifts, while a full-electric mode provides a surprising level of efficiency, cutting CO₂ emissions by up to 50% compared to the outgoing model.

Bridgestone stepped in as Lamborghini’s exclusive tire partner, engineering bespoke Potenza Sport, Potenza Race, and Blizzak LM005 tires to extract every ounce of potential from the Temerario in all seasons. Using its Virtual Tyre Development technology, Bridgestone fine-tuned tire options in eight different dimensions to match the car’s uncompromising demands. Whether it’s summer tarmac or icy backroads, this Lamborghini is ready to grip and rip.

Inside, the Temerario’s cockpit is a mix of race-bred design and high-end luxury. The revamped cabin offers more headroom and personalization than ever, with Lamborghini’s Ad Personam program delivering over 400 color and livery options. New materials like the featherweight Corsa-Tex in Dinamica microfiber emphasize the car’s lightweight ethos while keeping things upscale. A custom Sonus faber sound system turns the cabin into an acoustic theater, with seven independently powered speakers delivering rich, fatigue-free sound across a 30 Hz to 30 kHz frequency range.

For those chasing lap records, the new Lamborghini Telemetry 2.0 system adds a modern twist. Integrated with Apple Watch, it not only logs lap and sector times across over 150 global circuits but also tracks the driver’s heart rate for a truly immersive performance breakdown.

Even the launch event itself reflected Lamborghini’s forward-looking values. Certified under ISO 20121 for sustainable event management, the Estoril showcase emphasized low-impact logistics and eco-conscious practices, underscoring the brand’s commitment to a more sustainable future without losing its edge.

The Lamborghini Temerario is more than a hybrid supercar—it’s a manifesto. A declaration that electrification, when paired with Italian flair and motorsport obsession, can still ignite the senses. From its fire-breathing V8 to its state-of-the-art tech and world-first innovations, the Temerario doesn’t just signal the future of Lamborghini performance. It screams it.
