Kareem Amado’s journey is one that reads like a playbook for dream chasers—a story of unwavering determination, artistic flair, and a fearless leap into the unknown. From his earliest days performing in talent shows at the age of three, it was clear that Kareem was destined for the spotlight. What began as a childhood fascination with performing quickly morphed into a lifelong obsession, as he relentlessly pursued every avenue to showcase his growing talents. Whether it was competing in dance competitions, gracing the stage of high school plays, or even strutting his stuff at car shows, Kareem was always where the action was. Every performance, every challenge, every stage became an opportunity to learn, grow, and refine his craft. Growing up, Kareem didn’t have an easy road, but he made it clear early on that he would stop at nothing to make his dreams a reality. As a young man ready to carve his path, he made a bold choice to move to New York City straight out of vocational school. In one of the biggest moves of his life, Kareem took the leap and immersed himself in the fast-paced, competitive world of arts and entertainment. His first big break came when he landed an internship at Interscope Records. There, he quickly made an impact, becoming a part of the promotion team for some of the biggest names in music—Mary J. Blige, Common, Lady Gaga, and many others. This experience proved to be a game-changer, providing him with invaluable industry insights and connections that would shape his future endeavors. While working at Interscope Records, Kareem began to realize that his passions were far broader than just being part of the machine. His desire to create, to be a driving force in the industry, led him to enroll at Nyack College, where he studied Music Education and Theology. However, as much as he loved learning, the pull of the real world was undeniable. In a bold move, Kareem dropped out of college to pursue his dreams full-time, an act that many would consider risky but that would later prove to be the catalyst for his future success.

In 2011, Kareem co-founded Rhythm Addict TV, a media channel dedicated to shining a spotlight on East Coast dance culture. This platform gave him the opportunity to interview world-renowned choreographers and dancers, and through his media work, he helped shape the conversation around dance, creativity, and artistry in the entertainment world. Rhythm Addict TV quickly gained traction across the Tri-State area, DMV, and New England, becoming a go-to source for interviews, workshops, and competitions. The platform opened the door for Kareem to explore even more exciting opportunities, including acting, modeling, and touring internationally as a backup dancer for famous artists.

Despite the many successes, Kareem’s path was far from smooth. Throughout his career, he faced countless challenges, most notably dealing with rejection. But rather than being discouraged, he embraced the “no’s” as part of the journey. “It’s easy to get caught up in the negative self-talk and self-doubt that comes with rejection,” Kareem admits. “But I had to remind myself that every ‘no’ brought me closer to the ‘yes’ I was searching for.” This mindset has become a cornerstone of his journey—rejection is not a defeat, but a lesson, a way to refine his approach, learn from mistakes, and come back stronger.

In 2022, Kareem signed with Donahue Models & Talent and Dynasty Models and Talent Agency, marking a major milestone in his career. He began working on various projects, including acting, voiceovers, runway shows, and commercial print. His charm and charisma quickly made him a sought-after talent in the entertainment world, and he started appearing in photoshoots and film projects that showcased his multifaceted abilities.

But Kareem’s talents are not confined to the stage and screen. He’s also made an impact as a Brand Ambassador with ATN Event Staffing, representing global brands such as Nike, Adidas, Red Bull, Heineken, and Yondr. His influence stretches beyond entertainment and into the world of business and branding, where his ability to connect with people has helped elevate the brands he represents.

His work also extends to the community. Kareem’s dedication to giving back is evident in his volunteer work, whether it’s helping at a local soup kitchen during the holidays or delivering food to the elderly through organizations like Gates of Hope. As a Minister with American Marriage Ministries, Kareem has officiated weddings, spreading love and positivity in a meaningful way. Through social media, he uses his platform to inspire others, always sharing words of encouragement and spreading messages of hope. His ultimate goal is to mentor the next generation, guiding them toward discovering their own purpose and passions in life.

Through all of these ventures, Kareem has remained committed to his guiding principle: “It’s never too late to start again.” He learned that growth is about embracing challenges, making mistakes, and always pushing forward with resilience. For him, success isn’t measured by fame or wealth—it’s about the impact he has on others, the lessons learned along the way, and the communities he helps to build.

Kareem’s journey is far from over. He continues to break boundaries, expand his reach, and influence others with his creativity and dedication to making a positive difference in the world. Whether in front of the camera, on the dance floor, or in the community, Kareem Amado is living proof that following your passion, staying true to yourself, and never giving up can lead to extraordinary things.
