The life-sized sculpture doesn’t have an engine but it can roll and steer for easier transport

- A unique wooden sculpture of a third-gen Bentley Continental GT is listed for sale on eBay.
- The model is assembled of thousands of pieces with the whole process taking over 3,000 hours.
- It is currently exhibited at the showroom of Autosport Group in Florida, next to real Bentleys.
Luxury car buyers often spec their cars with a generous amount of wood inside the cabin, adding to its luscious feel. However, there is one example which is entirely made of wood. The pictured full-size model of a Continental GT is the perfect companion for a real Bentley inside your garage, but it won’t come cheap.
The unique model originates from Belgium, although we don’t know the maker. It looks similar to the sculptures by ND Woodworking Art and sports a detailed exterior and interior. It is made of marine-grade teak and plywood, with thousands of pieces assembled on two wood beams that serve as the chassis. The whole process reportedly took over 3,000 hours to complete, which shows that it was a painstaking effort.

The model is inspired by the third generation of the Continental GT that was introduced in 2017 and remained in production until 2024. The large grille, bumper intakes, exhaust outlets, and the bezels around the oval headlights and taillights have a darker finish than the rest of the bodywork for contrast. Proportions are a bit off from some angles, but details like the three-dimensional emblems are quite impressive.
The doors open and pivot on exposed hinges, allowing access to the cabin. This is even more striking than the exterior, with a detailed dashboard, center console, and door panels. However, the seats are smaller and flatter than the original, with lines trying to mimic the diamond pattern of the leather upholstery.

Setting aside the steel axles and the acrylic windows, everything else is made of wood, including the wheels and tires. While this Bentley doesn’t have a W12 or a V8 engine under the hood, it rolls and steers thanks to a rack-and-pinion steering linkage.

The model tips the scales at 2,000 pounds (907 kg), meaning it is significantly lighter than a real Continental GT that can weigh up to 5,421 pounds (2,459 kg) in the most recent plug-in hybrid form.
The wooden Bentley is currently exhibited at the showroom of Autosport Group in Boca Raton, Florida, next to a bunch of used luxury vehicles from the Crewe brand. The dealer has decided to part ways with it, offering it for sale on eBay. According to the listing, there are some visible cracks along some of the glued seams and a little bit of wear inside the cabin.
The asking price is a cool $98,900, which is not far from prices of real Continental GTs in the used car market. Still, most Bentley buyers have money to spare so they could may as well buy an extra one for display. Below, you can see a video tour of the wooden model from YouTuber Austin Campbell who paid a visit to the Florida dealership a few months ago.
