Thursday, May 15, 2025, was a day that will remain etched in the history of Goodway. The new Goodway Italy headquarters was officially inaugurated, and the event represented not only a significant milestone for the company but also an opportunity for celebration, unity, and hope for the future.
The ceremony began promptly at 3:00 PM, under a clear, sunny sky that added a touch of beauty to the day. The venue was perfectly set up, with the team having paid great attention to every detail: from the buffet, expertly curated by Piano Zero, to the uniforms worn with pride, and the background music that welcomed guests into a warm, professional atmosphere. Photographer Silvia was ready to capture every significant moment.
The event was opened by Tim Kane, the CEO of Goodway, who took the floor to kick off the ceremony. His speech, inspiring and motivating, clearly explained the strategic vision behind the opening of the Italian headquarters. Translated skillfully by JoAngela, the Italian-American translator, Tim emphasized the importance of this new location, not only as a reference point for existing local productions but also as a base for future expansions. The quality and excellence that distinguish Goodway are globally recognized, and the new headquarters in Italy represents a key pillar in strengthening and growing this position. He also thanked Flavia and Primo for all the work they made to do the building renovation.
Alongside Tim, Mayor Simone Bontorin extended his greetings, expressing his enthusiasm for Goodway’s decision to establish itself in his city. He emphasized how this opening would not only represent an opportunity for the company but also for the local community, which would benefit from Goodway’s contribution to economic growth and development.
But the symbolic moment marking the start of a new era for Goodway came immediately after: the ribbon-cutting ceremony. A simple yet meaningful gesture, it officially marked the beginning of a new phase. The atmosphere was filled with emotion and pride.
And so, after the ribbon cutting, the inaugural toast took place, marking another step toward the future. A sparkling bottle of prosecco was opened, and together with Tim Kane and Mayor Bontorin, all the guests raised their glasses to celebrate this important milestone. With a smile, Tim wished everyone the best for Goodway’s future, aware that this headquarters would pave the way for new opportunities and successes.
At that moment, Mr. Astuni performed a gesture that touched the hearts of all those present. After the toast, he collected the cork from the prosecco bottle and, the next day, gifted us a beautifully illuminated display case with the cork inside. On it, the date of the opening and the company’s name were engraved— a tangible symbol of a historic moment for Goodway.
This gesture, which might seem small, took on great symbolic significance, representing the start of a new era for the company and serving as a lasting, visible memory of that special day.
The buffet, which garnered great appreciation from those present, offered a selection of local dishes, wines, and cocktails, expertly prepared and served with speed and professionalism by the team from Piano Zero, led by Francesca and Michele and their staff. Every guest was treated with the utmost attention, and the atmosphere of friendliness and hospitality was palpable. In those moments, between casual conversations and smiles, it was clear that the efforts of everyone involved had been rewarded.
Special thanks were given to all the suppliers and collaborators who made this event possible, including Gardin, Gaia, CME, Clone, Zelen, Mitec, and those who contributed to the renovation of the headquarters: Claudio Campagnolo (the building owner), Cristiano (Contractor), and Angelo (Surveyor). Their support and expertise were essential for the success of the inauguration.
A special thanks also went to all the members of the Goodway Italy team, who worked with great dedication and passion to ensure the event was flawless: Flavia, Primo, Constantin, GianMarco, Ornella, Simone, Fiorella, Elia, Antonio, Franco, Elena. Their collaboration was the key to the success of the inauguration.
Adding even more significance to the event was the presence of the Goodway USA team, including Tim Kane, Santiago Valderrama, Bo Kane, and Eric Potorski, whose participation brought an international atmosphere and enriched the inauguration.
The images captured by Silvia, who froze the most beautiful moments of the day, will be shared with colleagues in the United States so they too can experience the emotion and enthusiasm that filled the air at Goodway Italy.
In conclusion, the inauguration of Goodway Italy’s new headquarters was a success in every way. The teamwork, passion, and commitment of all participants made this day special and confirmed that we are on the right path. The new headquarters represents the beginning of an even more prosperous future, where we will continue to pursue the excellence that defines us.
A sincere thank you to everyone who contributed to making this event a reality and, of course, a heartfelt thank you to Tim, who believed in us from the very beginning.
