Hyundai Motor Group (HMG) has officially announced the launch of the 2025 HMG Driving Experience Center, the largest facility of its kind in Korea. The new season begins on March 28, 2025 (Friday), offering an upgraded selection of innovative driving programs and experiences tailored for customers of all skill levels.
Unmatched Driving Experience Facility
Located in Taean, South Chungcheong Province, the HMG Driving Experience Center spans 1.26 million square meters and is housed within the Hankook Technoring Driving Test Center. The facility includes a two-story customer-only building (12,230 m2) and offers a diverse range of eight high-performance driving experience courses:
- Braking Course – Learn emergency braking techniques.
- Dry Road Circuit – Experience driving under harsh road conditions.
- Wet Road Circuit – Simulate wet weather driving conditions.
- 4.6 km High-Speed Circuit – Test high-speed driving capabilities.
- Multipurpose Driving Course – Includes Gymkhana and slalom experiences.
- Wet Circular Course – A track designed for learning advanced drifting techniques.
- Kick Plate Course – A specialized surface designed to teach emergency vehicle control.
- Off-Road Course – An all-terrain course featuring ramps, gravel, sand, bumps, and water crossings, ideal for SUVs.


New and Improved Driving Programs
For the 2025 season, HMG has curated an expanded set of driving programs, ensuring a more immersive and thrilling experience for customers.
1. Driving Experience Program
Designed for all skill levels, this program enables participants to systematically develop their driving skills while behind the wheel of Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis vehicles. It includes:
- Basic Drive Program – Ideal for beginners, featuring the Hyundai Casper Electric and Kia EV4. This course is designed to build foundational driving confidence.
- N Drift Level 2 Program – An advanced drifting course utilizing the IONIQ 5 N, enhancing participants’ ability to perform controlled drifts.
- Track Experience Program – A top-tier program dedicated to track driving, now available at Yeongam KIC Circuit in addition to Inje Speedium in Gangwon-do.
2. Driving Pleasure Program
This program is tailored for anyone, regardless of experience, offering direct and indirect driving experiences:
- Tasman Intensive Program – A 2-day, 1-night adventure, combining off-road driving and camping. Participants can drive the Kia Tasman X-Pro, a high-performance off-road pickup, and engage in outdoor recreational activities.
- Performance Scenic Drive Program – A guided test drive experience featuring Hyundai and Kia’s high-performance vehicles such as the Hyundai Avante N, IONIQ 5 N, Kia The New EV6 GT, and EV9 GT.
Expanded Family-Friendly Experiences
To make the HMG Driving Experience Center more inclusive, new family-friendly programs and facilities have been introduced:
- Junior Driving Experience Program – Designed for children aged 4 to 12, this hands-on experience allows kids to build model cars and control them using a dedicated app.
- Kids Lounge – A newly established space where families can relax while their children engage in interactive car-themed activities.


The Premier Automotive Experience in Korea
Since its official opening in September 2022, the HMG Driving Experience Center has welcomed over 18,000 visitors in 2024. Entering its fourth year, the center is set to redefine automotive experiential programs in Korea by offering a wider variety of driving activities.
