Hyundai Motor America is ready for the 2025 IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge (IMPC) season, fielding seven Hyundai Elantra N TCR entries. Aiming for a sixth-consecutive Manufacturers’ Championship title, Hyundai will rely on the expertise of Bryan Herta Autosport (BHA), Victor Gonzalez Racing, and the newly announced Pegram Racing.

This robust effort underscores Hyundai’s dedication to motorsport excellence, blending seasoned veterans and promising newcomers into an impressive lineup of drivers and teams.

The 2025 Lineup: Talent and Experience

Bryan Herta Autosport (BHA)

BHA, known for its multi-championship success, returns with four entries, blending championship-winning experience with emerging talent:

  • No. 33 Hyundai Elantra N TCR: Piloted by Mark Wilkins and Bryson Morris.
  • No. 98 Hyundai Elantra N TCR: Driven by Harry Gottsacker and Mason Filippi, runners-up in last year’s IMPC Drivers’ Championship.
  • No. 76 Hyundai Elantra N TCR: Featuring Denis Dupont and Preston Brown.
  • No. 9 Hyundai Elantra N TCR: The debut entry for Maddie Aust and Suellio Almeida.

Mason Filippi, Mark Wilkins, Bryson Morris, and 2023 TCR Champion Harry Gottsacker bring a wealth of IMPC experience, collectively boasting 19 victories. Wilkins, a cornerstone of BHA’s success, has consistently won races every season since joining the team.

Adding fresh energy, Maddie Aust, a seasoned SRO racer, and Suellio Almeida, the 2024 Radical North America Champion, are poised to make their mark in their first IMPC season.

Victor Gonzalez Racing

Entering its third season collaborating with Hyundai, Victor Gonzalez Racing returns with two entries:

  • No. 99 Hyundai Elantra N TCR: Piloted by Tyler Gonzalez and Eric Powell.
  • No. 18 Hyundai Elantra N TCR: Driven by Lance Bergstein and Jon Miller.

Pegram Racing

New to the IMPC grid, Pegram Racing introduces the highly anticipated father-daughter duo of Larry and Riley Pegram in the No. 72 N TCR.

  • Larry Pegram, a veteran motorcycle racer, transitions to TCR racing with enthusiasm and adaptability.
  • Riley Pegram, an emerging talent, brings fresh perspective and a passion for motorsport.

This dynamic pairing underscores Hyundai’s dedication to diversity and the cultivation of emerging talent.

Fresh Design for Daytona

BHA’s 2025 N TCR cars will debut a striking new livery at Daytona International Speedway. Featuring the iconic Performance Blue and bold N logo, the design represents Hyundai’s high-performance identity. An alternate black livery with Performance Blue accents will also be showcased.

The team begins its season with five test sessions at the Roar Before the Rolex 24 on January 17-19, 2025, leading to the BMW M Endurance Challenge at Daytona on January 24, 2025.
