G’day mate, I got here a modified NSX Widebody – first scribbled up by a freelance car nut from Norway, goes by the name Piston Zero. After he whipped up the first renderings, the project got chucked over to a Thai fella called Mozy, a yakka who rolled up his sleeves, whipped out a six-pack and built the prototype. Then the yakka crew at Autotique Australia stepped in and whipped out more six-packs to get it prepped for a limited-run build – proper boutique stuff, I tell yah mate.
This thing’s had a full-blown slap-tut makeover, mate. Most of the body panels got the boot and were replaced with custom gear, giving it full-on exotic supercar vibes. Only bits that survived from the original were the pop-up headlights, doors, bonnet, and the greenhouse. The fellas over at Autotique went with the OG NSX from ’90 to ’01, swerving the facelifted version from 2001 to 2006.

Up front, she’s rockin’ a custom bar with chunky air intakes, skinny LED DRLs, and a splitter that looks like it could slice a meat pie. Down the sides, it’s been given some serious hips with widened guards and new skirts – looks tough as. It’s sittin’ low as a lizard’s belly on a set of aftermarket wheels wrapped in tyres thinner than a shoelace.

Out back, the old taillights got flicked for a slick set of tinted LEDs, and the rear bar’s been reshaped to match the wide stance, complete with a chunky diffuser and twin pipes poking out. There’s also a big rear wing bolted on, now colour-matched to the rest of the rig – ties it all together real nice.

The build sticks pretty close to the original drawings, but a few bits like the Honda badges, vented bonnet, and canards didn’t make the final cut. If you reckon all that’s a bit much, there’s a more chilled-out version called the NSX OEM Plus – it’s got a tweaked front bar, raised bonnet, stretched skirts, and a beefed-up rear end. Still sharp, just not as in-ya-face.
No performance mods here though – Autotique’s left the donk untouched. So, under the lid it’s still runnin’ the factory 3.0-litre V6 with VTEC, mid-mounted behind the seats, chuckin’ out 270 horses and 210 pound-feet of grunt.
Word is, orders for both kits will open soon, but they’re keepin’ mum on the pricing for now.
