At Genesis House in the heart of Manhattan’s Meatpacking District, Gwyneth Paltrow is collaborating with the iconic luxury automotive manufacturer on a new seasonal installation. Known for her unique wellness-focused lifestyle brand, Goop, as well as her celebrated sense of style, Gwyneth Paltrow collaborated with Genesis, transforming Genesis House’s Cellar Stage into The Forest Within. The installation, a multi-sensory wellness experience, promotes connection with nature and the Earth for the season of spring, bringing natural beauty to the middle of New York City.
A tiger, an animal that holds symbolic importance in Korean culture, guides visitors along with Paltrow’s voice through the forest, with greenery designed by floral artist Jeff Leatham, and design inspired by Korea’s Sobaek Mountains. Celebrating nature, luxury, and Paltrow’s passion for holistic wellness, The Forest Within is open to the public from May 9 until June 29, and the Genesis House restaurant will also feature special menu items during the time of the installation, including Mugwort Gulrim Mandu, a Korean spring dumpling, a cocktail inspired by the smell of rain called Ginseng Petrichor, and a zero-proof cocktail called Hanbang Ppuli. Ushering in the beauty of spring in the middle of the concrete jungle, The Forest Within is an exciting collaboration between two big names in the luxury world, Gwyneth Paltrow and Genesis.
