The Maserati GT2 Stradale has finally hit the road, bringing the brand’s racing DNA to everyday driving. Following its world premiere at The Quail during Monterey Car Week, this high-performance supercar is set to arrive in Europe this April. Designed for both the track and the road, it offers an exclusive driving experience like no other.
A Supercar Born for the Road and Track

The GT2 Stradale is the road-legal version of the GT2, which marked Maserati’s return to closed-wheel racing. Furthermore, to celebrate its debut, Maserati hosted an exclusive event in southern Spain, thereby giving stakeholders and customers the opportunity to experience the car’s dynamic capabilities.
The test drive route took participants from the scenic roads of Marbella through the stunning Parque Nacional Sierra de las Nieves before reaching the private Ascari circuit near Ronda. They named this track, which spans 5,425 metres, after Italian Formula 1 champion Alberto Ascari, who once raced for Maserati.
Maserati’s Racing Heritage Lives On

Maserati has a long and rich motorsport history, and the GT2 Stradale builds on that legacy. When the brand developed the MC20, it was already planning its return to the track. That vision led to the Maserati GT2, which has already made its mark in the Fanatec GT2 European Series championship. Now, with the GT2 Stradale, Maserati has created a supercar that blends extreme performance with road-going refinement.
Performance and Engineering Excellence

The GT2 Stradale takes the best elements from the MC20 and GT2, delivering a top speed of 324 km/h. Under the bonnet, its 3.0-litre V6 Nettuno engine produces 640 CV (471 kW), 10 CV more than the MC20. With acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds, it stands as the fastest rear-wheel-drive (RWD) car in its class. State-of-the-art aerodynamics and lightweight materials match this performance, ensuring an engaging driving experience on both the road and the track.
Exclusive Design and Customisation

Maserati’s Fuoriserie customisation programme offers bespoke liveries for the GT2 Stradale, making each model unique. At the Ascari circuit, one pit lane showcased these exclusive design options, while another featured the GT2 race car, highlighting Maserati’s motorsport heritage. This blend of racing inspiration and luxury craftsmanship makes the GT2 Stradale a standout in the supercar world.
A Statement from Maserati’s CEO

Santo Ficili, Maserati’s CEO, described the GT2 Stradale as a natural evolution from the track-focused GT2. Moreover, he emphasised that this supercar embodies Maserati’s commitment to performance, elegance, and racing passion. In addition, the GT2 Stradale is 100% made in Modena, reflecting the dedication and skill of Maserati’s engineers and craftsmen.
Limited Production and Collectability

Production of the GT2 Stradale began in December at Maserati’s historic Viale Ciro Menotti plant in Modena. Additionally, only 914 units will be made, a nod to the year Maserati was founded – 1914. Furthermore, each car features a badge on the central tunnel reading “1 of 914,” highlighting its exclusivity.
