Genesis continues to lead in automotive innovation as the brand earns top honors for the fifth consecutive year in the J.D. Power 2025 U.S. Tech Experience Index (TXI) StudySM.

Genesis Tops the 2025 TXI Study

J.D. Power has officially designated the Korean luxury brand as the highest ranked brand overall and in the premium segment of the 2025 TXI Study. The luxury automaker achieved the highest Innovation Index score, driven by its wide range of advanced in-vehicle technologies.

This milestone marks the fifth consecutive year that Genesis has secured the number-one position in the TXI Study, reinforcing its reputation as a global leader in premium technology-driven mobility.

Genesis GV80 Wins Connected Vehicle Technology Award

The GV80 SUV earned special recognition in the premium category for Best Connected Vehicle Technology, thanks to its Genesis Digital Key 2 system. This phone-based digital key allows drivers to lock, unlock, and start their GV80 using a smartphone or smartwatch.

Genesis Digital Key 2 is compatible with Apple Wallet, Samsung Wallet, Google Wallet, watchOS, and Android Smart Watch, giving owners seamless access to their vehicles without needing a physical key.

Genesis Commitment to Personalized Luxury

How the J.D. Power TXI Study Works

The J.D. Power Tech Experience Index (TXI) Study evaluates how effectively automakers bring emerging technologies to market. It uses a 1,000-point Innovation Index, combining:

  • Adoption of new technologies across the product lineup
  • Execution quality, based on customer satisfaction and reported issues

In 2025, the TXI Study analyzed 40 advanced automotive technologies across five categories:

  1. Comfort & Convenience
  2. Driver Assist
  3. Electric Vehicle Technology
  4. Connected Vehicle Features
  5. Smart Vehicle Innovation
