Posted on February 16, 2025 By rehan.rafique No Comments on Genesis GV90 Loses Camouflage, Shows its MLA Headlights

We recently have shared latest spy shots of the Genesis’ new luxury pure electric SUV, the Genesis GV90. This new flagship of the Genesis brand is based on the new electric eM platform with 800-volt technology and bears the internal codename JG1 and now our colleagues at MediaAuto captured a new prototype showing its MLA headlights, the clamshell bonnet and the overall side profile of the production version of the GV90.

With the Neolun Concept, Genesis has already given a glimpse into the future and announced this model. The first production-ready prototypes are now on the road and were photographed in Europe near the Arctic Circle during winter testing. The GV90 was spied by Baldauf in the Arctic Circle, capturing crucial details of its design and capabilities. Unlike the concept, the production version features normal doors and a B-pillar, as opposed to the concept’s counter-hinged doors and lack of a B-pillar.

Genesis GV90: A True Luxury Competitor

In terms of size, the GV90 is expected to be over 5 metres long, making it a real competitor to the Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV. The new Genesis GV90 prototype is fitted with Michelin X-Ice Snowy SUV tires in size 285/45 R22. An air suspension system and rear axle steering can also be identified, enhancing both ride quality and maneuverability.

Interior: Designed for Ultimate Comfort

A look inside the GV90 reveals four individual seats, emphasizing luxury and comfort. The center console at the rear features cup holders, an inductive mobile phone charger, and a large infotainment display, ensuring a high-end experience for passengers.

Conclusion: The Future of Genesis EVs

The Genesis GV90 is set to redefine the luxury electric SUV market with its innovative platform, elegant design, and premium features. As Genesis continues to push the boundaries of electric mobility, this flagship SUV is poised to make a significant impact when it officially launches in 2026.
