Genesis has officially announced its strategic expansion into four new European markets—France, Italy, Spain, and The Netherlands—marking a pivotal step in its global growth strategy. Unveiled during the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans, the announcement aligns with Genesis Magma Racing’s debut appearance at the iconic motorsport event, reinforcing the brand’s growing presence in performance and luxury automotive sectors.

Strengthening Global Footprint Since 2021

Since its European debut in 2021, the brand has steadily built a reputation for delivering design-forward, all-electric luxury vehicles, with operations already active in Germany, Switzerland, and the UK. The addition of these four key markets reflects Genesis’ long-term commitment to Europe and sets the stage for its next phase of measured growth.

“Our entry into these important markets is a pivotal moment for Genesis. We are moving now to deepen our long-term presence and commitment across Europe,” said Xavier Martinet, Managing Director at Genesis Motor Europe. “This is the most significant market expansion since we launched in Europe in 2021 and is the start of our next phase of measured, strategic growth and sporting brand direction.”

All-Electric Lineup Launching in Early 2026

Genesis will introduce its award-winning all-electric lineup to these new countries in early 2026, offering three refined models that showcase the brand’s hallmark blend of innovation, luxury, and performance:

  • GV60 – A compact luxury SUV and Genesis’ first dedicated EV, known for its bold design and advanced technology.
  • Electrified GV70 – The flagship SUV that combines dynamic all-electric performance with premium features and everyday versatility.
  • Electrified G80 – A luxury saloon offering superior refinement, extended wheelbase, and advanced tech, representing the most comprehensively equipped Genesis model in Europe.

All three models feature enhanced battery specifications, extended range, and state-of-the-art technologies, ensuring they meet the needs of the discerning European EV customer.

A Customer Experience Inspired by Korean Values

The luxury brand continues to distinguish itself in the competitive premium EV market with its ‘Son-nim’ philosophy, a Korean concept meaning “honored guest.” This unique approach to customer experience underscores Genesis’ dedication to personalized service, elevated design, and human-centric innovation.

“Our distinctive electric models have strong European appeal and the demand is growing. With these new markets, and our audacious approach to motorsport, we look forward to introducing new customers to our design-driven performance brand,” Martinet added.

More Details Coming Soon

HMG’s luxury brand will reveal further information regarding local retail operations, dealership networks, and market-specific strategies in the coming months.

With this expansion, Genesis is not only reinforcing its status as a global luxury EV leader, but also setting a new standard in European premium mobility.
