Geely is busily expanding its dealership network, with additional locations opening in the coming months to bring the tally to 22.

The Chinese brand returned to Australia this year as a factory-backed operation after over a decade off the market, though its parent company has been well-represented through subsidiaries like Volvo and Polestar.

Geely has now announced dealerships across every state and territory bar the Northern Territory.

These are all expected to feature either electric or plug-in hybrid power.

The EX5 is aiming for the heart of the electric vehicle (EV) market in Australia with a base price of $40,990 before on-road costs, tackling other cut-price Chinese SUVs like the BYD Atto 3 and Leapmotor C10.

In addition to the sharp pricing, Geely is throwing in a further sweeteners until the end of April.

All EX5s sold before then will receive three years of free servicing, one year of free public charging, free premium paint and a free home charger. Geely is also offering a 3.88 per cent comparison rate.
