PRICE INCREASES

Arzel Zoning Technology Inc. (Cleveland) is planning price increases, of unspecified amounts, beginning Thursday, May 1.

 

ACQUISITIONS

The SEER Group (Lynnwood, Wash.) acquired Kilowatt Heating, Air Conditioning and Electric (Sherman Oaks, Calif.).

 

RESIDENTIAL CONTRACTORS

Colair Inc. (Mission, Texas) opened a new location in Corpus Christi, Texas.

 

MANUFACTURERS

Trane Technologies (Swords, Ireland) donated more than 850 mobile devices to The 911 Cell Phone Bank (Ocala, Fla.), which supports the victims of human trafficking and domestic violence.

Allied Air Enterprises (West Columbia, S.C.) and Prokeep Inc. (New Orleans) partnered to bring communications solutions to distributors.

Greenheck Fan Corp. (Schofield, Wis.) won an HVAC purchasing contract with Sourcewell (Staples, Minn.), which manages a cooperative purchasing program.

Nidec Motor Corp. (St. Louis) was named a top vendor by Locke Supply Co. (Oklahoma City).

Danfoss Climate Solutions (Nordborg, Denmark) named Dennis Appel president of its new Controls and Thermal Management division.

Helix Earth Technologies Inc. named David Hamlin vice president of engineering and named Greg Powers to the company advisory board.

 

ORGANIZATIONS

Rewiring America (Washington) was named one of the World’s Most Innovative Companies by Fast Company (New York).

The California Heat Pump Partnership (Sacramento, Calif.) released a plan for scaling up heat pump adoption in the state.

 

SCHOOLS

The Refrigeration School (Phoenix) is marking its 60th anniversary.

Purdue University Northwest (Hammond and Westville, Ind.) named José R. Sánchez the dean of the College of Engineering and Sciences. Sánchez comes from Merrimack College (North Andover, Mass.), where he was dean of the School of Science and Engineering and also a professor there.

 

FINANCIAL REPORTS

ServiceTitan (Glendale, Calif.) reported revenue for the fourth quarter of the last fiscal year of $209.3 million, a 29% year-over-year increase. Total revenue for the fiscal year was reported at $771.9 million, a 26% increase.

Watsco Inc. (Miami) reported record 2024 sales of $7.62 billion, a 5% increase, as well as record gross profit of $2.04 billion, a 3% increase.
