A Long Time Coming. Welcome To the World
The gestation period for a human is nine months. This is nothing for Faraday Future who have been waiting to give birth to its first mass production vehicle for 11 years! Mom’s everywhere are cringing!

Faraday Future debuted the 2026 FX Super One MPV EV on July 17 in Los Angeles before the automotive media, influencers, celebrities, shareholders and Faraday Future investors that have put $4 billion dollars so far into this tech laden start-up.
While the FX Super One is the company’s first shot at a volume model, Faraday Future has been producing cars, albeit hand-built, at its Hanford, California, assembly plant since 2023. The sleek and sexy FF 91 EV sedan has found a following with celebrities such as Justin Bell, Chris Brown, Jason Oppenheimer and Suede Brooks. When we toured the Faraday Future Design studio in Gardena, California, one gleaming FF 91 EV in all-black was awaiting delivery to Mariah Carey.

The company says the FX Super One is a multipurpose vehicle, MPV, a term used by auto manufacturers that want their minivan to be viewed as something more than a family-friendly people mover. In the case of the FX Super One, it certainly can seat up to seven full-size adults, but it does it like no other.
The closest direct all-electric competitor is the Volkswagen ID.Buzz, but there is little possibility consumers will be cross-shopping these two vehicles. The FX Super One is not a casual beach lifestyle and outdoor recreation vehicle that welcomes sand and dirt on its carpeted floors. No, it is meant for upscale luxurious travel and will be a favorite of livery companies with the Cadillac Escalade IQ EV directly in their sights. Corporate travel companies will be requesting it be used for celebrity, sports, entertainment and business executive clients.
Clean Fleet Report did not have the opportunity, at the reveal event, to drive the FX Super One MPV EV, so our impressions of performance and ride will have to wait until later in 2025. However, what we know so far hints at what it will be like on the open road.
Power

The FX Super One will be powered by a minimum of two electric motors (three will be more likely), with one on the front axle and two on the rear. Each motor will be rated at 350 horsepower so a tri-motor set-up would be 1,050 horsepower driving all four wheels. This translates into more than enough power when filled with passengers and their gear.
When empty, because of the mere size, the estimated weight will be somewhere around 8,000 pounds, which means it is not a performance vehicle and we don’t expect Faraday Future to market it as such.
Interior
The company says “the spacious interior prioritizes passenger comfort…with high-end materials and advanced technology.” Seating for up to seven in extreme comfort on cushy soft and buttery smooth leather zero-graseats with power-everything.

The second row Captain’s Chairs have arm-mounted touch panels to control heat, cooling, ventilation and some of the deepest massage settings you will find. The seats recline flat and, when the leg extenders are in full position, sleeping will be difficult to fend off. A neat trick is the third-row seats also fold flat, when combined with the second row, will allow a six-footer to lay comfortably.
A monitor that drops from the ceiling is paired to wireless headsets for private viewing. The combination cooler/warmer box, located in the center console, has access for the second and front row occupants. USB-C power ports, cup holders, side manual window shades and HVAC controls and vents complete the conveniences for those sitting behind the front row.
Now, about the front end. Faraday Future is having some fun with exterior entertainment and AI communication by placing an optional full color LED screen on the front end, measuring approximately 2.5-feet wide and 3-feet high. The company calls it the EAI F.A.C.E (Embodied Artificial Intelligence Front AI Communication Ecosystem). It can “express itself and communicate to the world.” When the FX Super One is in park and stationary, it can run content, including playing movies, gaming, streaming and creating custom graphics.

Positioning and Sales Strategy
Faraday Future clearly has the Cadillac Escalade in its sights saying, “the Escalade is mostly a status symbol for a select elite client.” In contrast, the Super One “will serve the needs of families seeking a high-quality lifestyle” as well as celebrities and entrepreneurs, while “bridging diverse lifestyles and audiences.”
Scott Wang, senior director B2B sales for Faraday Future, told us “the direct sales plan (like Rivian and Tesla) allows for a fully refundable $100 deposit that gets an interested customer on the pre-order list.”
Pricing and on-sale dates were not released.

Observations: 2026 Faraday Future FX Super One MPV EV
A well-funded company’s goal of taking aim at the iconic Cadillac Escalade will be interesting to watch unfold. Coming in against such a storied vehicle will take everything Faraday Future has in its playbook to make inroads into what many people think is the pinnacle for executive luxury transportation.
