MIAMI — Filter King, a manufacturer of UL-certified custom HVAC filters, has opened a new manufacturing and distribution center in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, part of the Lehigh Valley region.
The 61,600 square-foot Bethlehem facility, equipped for production, warehousing, and distribution, significantly enhances Filter King’s ability to serve the Northeast’s growing demand for premium air filtration solutions, a press release from Filter King said.
“Our goal is to reach the entire continental U.S. with next-day delivery. With the addition of the Pennsylvania facility, we now have a total of 200,000 square feet of operational space across three states and a workforce of more than 125 employees; we are well on our way to achieving this goal,” said Rick Hoskins, founder and CEO of Filter King.
The Bethlehem site was chosen for its proximity to major metropolitan areas, including Philadelphia and New York City, placing it within a seven-hour drive of 40% of the U.S. population, the press release said.
“Filter King is experiencing unprecedented growth in online direct-to-consumer sales,” Hoskins added. “In the second quarter of 2025, we produced and shipped more filters than in any single quarter in our nine-year history, driven by increasing demand for clean, efficient air filtration.”
The investment in Bethlehem is expected to create up to 120 jobs in manufacturing, logistics, and administration.
“Filter King’s investment in the Lehigh Valley continues the region’s growth as a center of diverse and innovative manufacturing,” said Don Cunningham, president and CEO of the Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corp. “We are grateful to J.G. Petrucci Co. Inc. for its work in finding a home in the Lehigh Valley for Filter King. It’s these types of partnerships that make the Lehigh Valley one of the top mid-sized markets in the U.S. for economic development.”
Manufacturing is a leading driver of the region’s growing economy, with more than 700 manufacturers collectively producing an annual output of $9 billion.
