Ferrari adds a new chapter to its hypercar legacy.

Many collectors and enthusiasts see Ferrari as one of the pinnacle manufacturers when it comes to automotive luxury, style, performance, engineering and prestige. However, even within Ferrari’s lineup over the decades, a specific pantheon of supercars shines above the rest: the Big Five. Consisting of the Ferrari 288 GTO, the Ferrari F40, the F50, the Enzo, and the LaFerrari, the Ferrari Big Five has historically shown off the very best of Ferrari’s racing-derived engineering, exclusivity, and style, creating exclusive, collector-grade cars that are cherished to this day.

However, the Ferrari Big Five has now become the Big Six, with the introduction of the new Ferrari F80. Succeeding the legendary Ferrari LaFerrari, the new Ferrari F80 evolves the LaFerrari’s hybrid design using a new powertrain derived from the two-time Le Mans-winning Ferrari 499P hypercar. With unprecedented performance and engineering, the new Ferrari F80 is the newest chapter in Ferrari’s pinnacle automotive excellence.

Ferrari F80 Price

Being the latest flagship Ferrari hypercar, the Ferrari F80 price starts at $3.1 million. The hefty Ferrari F80 cost not only highlights the F80’s performance, racing-derived components, and cutting-edge engineering, but also the exclusivity, with relatively few examples likely to be made. Of course, the F80 price is likely to only get higher with optional extras. As a collector-grade hypercar masterpiece, finding a Ferrari F80 for sale will be no easy task in the future.

From an overhead view, the stunning Ferrari F80 sports car captivates with its sleek, aerodynamic design and striking black accents. Parked on a dark surface, it hints at impressive specs that justify its premium price.

Ferrari F80 Specs

The Ferrari F80 specs are truly something to behold, establishing the car as a worthy successor to the Ferrari LaFerrari and the rest of the Big Five that came before it. Beyond its incredible, revolutionary powertrain, the F80 specs include a dry weight of just 3,362 pounds, with highly advanced and aggressive active aerodynamics for more than a ton of total downforce, as well as a wide, low stance made for racing prowess.

Ferrari F80 Engine

Undoubtedly the most controversial and impressive aspect of the Ferrari F80, the Ferrari F80 engine combines a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine with a racing-derived hybrid system to make it the most powerful roadgoing Ferrari yet. The engine itself, which musters 900 horsepower, boasts 300 horsepower per liter. With the help of the hybrid system, the Ferrari F80 horsepower is 1,200 hp, a genuinely staggering number.

Ferrari F80 Performance

The Ferrari F80 is made for high-performance excellence, with its incredible power and engineering. The Ferrari F80 0-60 is just 2.15 seconds, thanks to its power and its all-wheel drive. If you keep your foot on the pedal, the Ferrari F80 top speed is 217 mph.

Ferrari F80 Design

With a new design language, the Ferrari F80 represents a futuristic turning point in Ferrari visuals while hoonring the past. The use of exposed carbon fbier gives the Ferrari F80 a two-tone look, and its design features are sinapired by one of the F80’s most prominent predecessors in the Big Five: the F40. The active rear wing is able to assume such drastically different positions that it changes the look of the car as a whole, indicating whether the vehicle is focused on style or ready to break lap records.

The interior of the Ferrari F80 sports car features two red racing seats with harnesses, set against a sleek black and blue background.

The interior is made for racing excellence, as well. It has a “+1” configuration, in which the driver’s seat is not only a different color from the passenger seat, but it is also set forward from the passenger seat, which allows the car to comfortably accommodate two passengers while the width of the cabin remains as efficient as possible. The Ferrari F80’s steering wheel is also specifically designed for the car, switching from Ferrari’s haptic controls to buttons for greater control and precision on the track.
