Prices on used C8s are continuing to fall, but we’ve just seen the lowest price so far on a 2020 hardtop convertible – just $43,000.
Unfortunately, that’s not likely to be the final price, as the car is being offered by the original owner on Cars & Bids, with the auction slated to close on December 10.
But, so far, 13 bids have been placed, climbing to a high of the aforementioned $43,000.

This loaded Arctic White Stingray had an impressive MSRP of $89,720 and includes lots of goodies – like the 3LT Premium Package Package ($11,450), Z51 Performance Package ($5,000), Magnetic Ride Control ($1,895), Front Lift ($1,495), 19-inch front and 20-inch rear Carbon Flash Painted Aluminum Wheels with Machined Edge ($995), and Arctic White Rear Corvette Script ($395). That first owner even sprang for the $995 Corvette Museum Delivery.
The reason for the low price isn’t because of an accident or other damage, but more likely due to the odometer reading of 59,500 miles. That’s not really that bad for a five-year-old car, compared to other mainstream vehicles, but in the Corvette world, seemingly anything over 10,000 miles on such a late-model car can make some enthusiasts wary.

We’re impressed with the way the Natural Dipped 3LT interior has held up with that many miles, so that’s encouraging to those owners who may drive just a thousand or two miles a year. You will spot a little wear and tear inside the interior and a few chips and scratches on the exterior, but at such a reasonable price, assuming it doesn’t skyrocket, what can you expect?
We’re also glad to see that the 8-speed dual clutch transmission was also serviced at a dealer earlier this year, and the new owner will get a well-documented service history, along with two keys, a battery tender, and the original driver’s-side wheels that had to be replaced at some point.

All in all, this price shows just how the market has cooled for used and new C8s. The price of this car will likely climb into the 50s before the bidding ends, but that’s still a great deal for such a high-performing vehicle that was knocking on the $90,000 door.
