Corvettes for Sale: 61K-Mile 1993 Corvette Convertible Offered on Craigslist

As the owner of four C4s over the past 40 years, including an Arctic White over Red convertible right now, I guess you could say I’m a fan of the fourth-generation Corvette.

A big debate is raging on the internet right now about the place these cars deserve in the storied history of Chevy’s legendary sports car, with some people believing they aren’t worth very much nowadays, especially the earlier years when the horsepower was as low as 205.

But just take an open-minded look at this 1993 convertible with 61,000 miles being offered for $15,000 on Craigslist out of the Glendale, Arizona area, and see if you can’t appreciate its beauty, especially when you consider the bang for the buck.

For less than the price of a few expensive options on later generations, you can get this whole car – a nice example that sports the rare Black Rose Metallic paint – only 934 other ‘93s were so colored.

While photos don’t always show off blemishes visible in person, this paint appears to be in fairly good condition after some 32 years on the road. We really like those Z06-style 18-inch wheels (mated with tires said to have only 2,000 miles on them) that add a classy touch to the car, and the beige canvas top (which is new, by the way) offers a nice contrast to the Black Rose paint, especially when paired with the “sumptuously comfortable” Light Beige leather seats that look to be in great condition, too.

The seller says the car “runs and drives beautifully” with its stock 300-horsepower LT1 engine, and he would be glad to drive it “anywhere.” Sometimes the air conditioning can be a problem area for older cars, but the AC in this one still blows cold. An “extensive” service history of the car since it was new will also be included with the sale.
