If you’re looking for a C6 Corvette that stands out from the crowd, you might want to take a look at this low-mileage 2011 Z06 Carbon Edition Z07 being offered on Bring a Trailer.
This car is #191 out of the 252 Carbon Special Edition Models built to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Corvette’s first entry in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The Carbon Special Edition Z06 features a 505-horsepower small-block 427 LS7 engine that was hand-assembled at GM’s Performance Build Center in Wixom, Michigan. It included 4.125-inch cylinder bores in an aluminum block with pressed-in steel cylinder liners, titanium connecting rods and intake valves, an 8-quart dry-sump oiling system with remote reservoir, 11:1 compression, 7,000-RPM redline, and 3.7-second 0-60 mph times.

The Carbon Special Edition package added a fixed roof, ZR1-style rear spoiler, carbon fiber front splitter, hood, and rocker panels – all done in lightweight carbon fiber. Helping save even more weight were the aluminum frame (30% lighter than steel) and magnesium engine cradle.
Of the 252 Special Editions built, 166 of them were painted Supersonic Blue, with the remaining 86 in Inferno Orange.

Adding to the special nature of this Corvette is the odometer reading of 8,034 miles.
The car is equipped with the Z07 Package, which added magnetorheological dampers and Brembo ceramic-composite brakes. The added grip and stability of the Carbon Edition led to its being a claimed three seconds faster than the standard Z06 around both GM’s Milford, Michigan, proving grounds and Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in California.

Other features include Ebony and Cashmere leather interior, 2LZ Preferred Equipment Group, head-up display, paint protection film over the entire body, black headlight surrounds, six-disc CD stereo, six-speed manual transmission, heated seats with position memory settings for the driver, power-adjustable steering column, steering wheel audio controls, 19″ and 20″ multi-spoke alloy wheels, Brembo ceramic-composite brakes, xenon headlights, navigation, and side airbags.
Originally registered in Ontario until it was imported to the U.S. in September 2024, this Canadian market Corvette was subsequently acquired by the selling dealer in Virginia. The market is certainly paying homage to the car. With seven days left in the auction, the high bid has already hit $45,000.

How high do you think it will go?
