Fresh from his trip to the Corvette Assembly Plant to see the reveal of the ZR1X, Mike returns home to make sure his first ZR1 delivery is prepped and ready to go. ~6/17/25~Tuesday Bowling Green, KY. I was fortunate to be invited to today’s function inside the Corvette Plant and much to my surprise, camera’s allowed. The ZR1X was revealed and the unfathomable…1,250 horsepower! Raymond Theriault, the Corvette plant Mgr did a tremendous job with today’s function and his well oiled machine of a team did a fantastic job. Enjoy the pictures from this mornings function in BG, KY.

~Always fun to visit the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Put this Museum on your bucket list of must see venues.
~Saturday 6/21/25~ After my morning deliveries I drove down the street to the Gaithersburg Corvette Club show. Approx 80+ Corvettes on hand and the GBurg Corvette club always does a Top Flight job. Once a year they roll out the red carpet and the proceeds go to charity. Criswell Chevrolet has sponsored the GBurg Corvette Club for decades.

“The first three Z06 Stingrays ever produced are lined up side by side and ready to do battle with the mighty Shelby Cobra. This was the first outing for both sports cars. Stingray #614 was driven by Bob Bondurant, #00 by Dave MacDonald and #8 by Jerry Grant. The red Cobra was driven by Billy Krause. To the left of the Cobra is Jay Hills’ Porsche & Bruce McLaren’s Sunbeam. I believe #66 is Ed Mackey’s Lotus. Drivers meeting prior to LeMans style start. Amazingly both MacDonald & Krause retired due to a rear wheel falling off. Doug Hooper was the race winner”

~Bob S. of Deerfield Beach, Florida is the owner of “ House of Wheels.” He has bought several Corvettes from me over the years and after selling his Z06 for his Eray he recently decided to send me his ZORA Z06 plate which was registered at his North Carolina home. Bob remembered that I lost a great deal of Memorabilia during the October 2012 “Hurricane Sandy “. So he was kind enough to consider my license plate collection as the new home for his Zora plate. ~6/20/25~Friday evening. I just took a quick ride to Laytonsville, MD for the “Old car scream and ice cream” event. On the way there I followed a mid 1920’s vehicle headed to the same car cruise. I drove through the 75+ cars and viewed approximately a dozen Corvettes and several of my customers stopped me to say hello.
~Gilles and Angele R. of La Quinta, California are excited to receive this Arctic White 2025 ZR1 Coupe with Natural dipped interior. This is vin 00014 ZR1…I also included two delivery pics from vin 0014 1953 Corvette way back in October 1953…no I was not the salesman but ironically enough, a very good friend of mine, Jim S. Grandfather owned this Wash DC Chevrolet dealer and his 30 year old father did the delivery that Fall of 1953 day. So there is today’s coincidence for vin 0014 …72 years apart!
MSRP $196,475 was the selling price and I started the C8 ZR1 list in 2018 and closed it 2+ years ago as I have 2500 deal folders. I took it for high test gas at the corner store and filled it myself before shipping it out. Equipment: 3LZ, Competition seats, carbon fiber split window painted body color, front lift, bright red calipers, 20 spoke bright machined face wheels, premium floor mats…and oh yea, a 5.5L v8 twin turbo engine that has 1,064 horsepower with a top speed of 233.4 mph.
~Clint H. of Liberty Lake, Washington reached out across the country 2,500 miles to place his special order for a Rapid Blue 2025 Z06 Convertible with Two tone Tension Twilight Blue interior. Yesterday was the big day at the National Corvette Museum as the red carpet was rolled out for him by the Museum staff. Equipment: 3LZ, stealth interior trim, front lift, level 2 cf trim, bright red calipers, Jake C8R graphics pkg, and much more.
