COLUMBUS, Ohio — Buckeye Heating, Cooling & Plumbing is sponsoring the Westerville Education Foundation’s Teacher of the Month program, which supports educators within the Westerville City School District.
The Patrons of Education sponsorship allows the education foundation to award scholarships of $100 to each of three educators during each month of the school year. The money can be used for their classrooms. Each award comes with a complimentary True Comfort membership that provides year-round HVAC and plumbing maintenance services.
“Being of service is one of our company’s core values,” said Mike Roszkowski, president of Buckeye Heating, Cooling & Plumbing. “This value is something educators exemplify every day in the classroom and beyond, so supporting the Teacher of the Month program is a natural and meaningful fit for our business and an important way for us to say ‘thank you’ to educators in our community.”
“The Westerville Education Foundation is proud to partner with Buckeye Heating, Cooling & Plumbing to celebrate outstanding educators across Westerville City Schools,” said Emma Nelson, executive director of the Westerville Education Foundation. “Through this collaboration, 25 teachers will be honored during the 2025–2026 school year. We’re grateful to Buckeye Heating, Cooling & Plumbing for making this recognition possible and for sharing our deep appreciation for public education and the incredible teachers who shape our community.”
The first three Teacher of the Month award recipients will be named in September by the Westerville Education Foundation. In addition to the $100 for their classroom accounts and a True Comfort membership from Buckeye Heating Cooling & Plumbing, recipients will receive an honorary certificate and donated bakery goods.
“So many of our clients are fortunate enough to have children in the Westerville City School District,” said Bruce Fields, general manager of Buckeye Heating, Cooling & Plumbing. “We believe supporting our local educators is another way to support the community we serve every day with our services. Teachers truly have one of the most important jobs in the world, and we are very excited about honoring those who go above and beyond with support for their classrooms this school year.”
