The 2026 model year will be here sooner that we know, so GM is now ready to reveal the changes coming to Corvette. While we expected the interior refresh to be the major point of the update, there is a lot more happening with America’s Favorite Sports Car.
As the spy photos have shown previously, the driver’s cockpit has been reimagined with a new three-screen layout and a new center console design that still keeps the driver in control. The new screens features a larger 12.7-inch diagonal center console display, an expanded 14-inch diagonal driver information center, and an all-new 6.6-inch diagonal touchscreen auxiliary display to the left of the steering wheel.
“There’s an intentional balance of physical and virtual controls,” said Dusty Smith, performance driving product manager. “For example, the head-up display controls are now virtualized, which opens space for Performance Traction Management controls to be intuitive physical buttons. The technology in the new Corvette is as strong and capable as the engine behind you.”

On the center console, the biggest change is that the Driver Mode selector has been redesigned and placed in line with the Corvette gear selector. In its former place is now a cell phone charging pad. The Volume button for the infotainment center is larger and features a lit base for better visibility.
As we have also seen from the spy photos, the Great Wall of Buttons is officially gone with those controls now moved under the center screen and we do have a passenger grab handle in its place. A new USB-C port has also been added below the grab handle.
The two cupholders have been redesigned and they include the rumored ambient lighting while the Corvette crossed flags logo are displayed on the bottoms. The cup holder door is now gone, and in 2LT/2LZ and 3LT/3LZ trims, the cupholders are highlighted with real aluminum.

With the additions of the new screens come new bright colored displays that are offered across the Corvette line-up. The displays offer a different way to interface with the Corvette and there are new graphics for the speedometer, tachometer and other gauges. New animations announce the changing of driver modes, and the screens appear to offer touch-screen interfaces that can scroll up or down for additional data.
Another big change is that the E-Ray Performance App which shows live horsepower and torque has been reconfigured for all Corvettes in the 2026 line-up, and features like acceleration timers and the G-Force gauge have been relocated to the Performance App. There is also a live feed that displays tire pressures and temps, as well as a feed of temperatures for engine oil, engine coolant, and transmission fluid temperature.
The Performance Data Recorder has also been completely overhauled with the new enhanced PDR offering real time data analysis in-car and the ability to record high-definition video of every driving session. Drivers are empowered to analyze their performance and make data-driven adjustments for optimal results based on speed trace analysis, side by side video playback, and automated “speed tips” based on your driving data through the center console display.
All Corvettes are also getting a new Performance Traction Management setting called PTM Pro. In this setting, PTM Pro turns off electronic stability control and traction control, while leaving ABS and certain E-Ray-specific front axle controls active, minimizing vehicle intervention for drivers who want maximum control.
The 2026 Corvette’s infotainment system is fully integrated into the Corvette’s controls. Drivers can now use voice assistance to control everything from opening the Performance Data Recorder to navigation, adjusting cabin temperature, playing your favorite song, texting, making phone calls and more.
New Interior Colors and Other Options
In addition to the new interior redesign, the 2026 Corvette model year will also bring new colors to both the interior and exterior of the cars. Already announced at the NCM Bash, the exterior adds Roswell Green Metallic while Blade Silver returns to the color line-up. We also are getting four new interior color schemes that are available across the Corvette line-up. They are
- Sky Cool and Medium Ash Gray with Habanero accents: Monochrome cool grays with unexpected pops of bright Habanero
- Santorini Blue: Vivid shade of blue that is both vibrant and electric
- Very Dark Atmosphere: Rich chocolate brown paired with Jet Black and Natural Tan accents
- Ultimate Suede: Jet Black suede interior customizable through Adrenaline Red, Santorini Blue, and Competition Yellow accent stitch colors and matching seatbelts
“This is Chevrolet’s first asymmetrical interior,” said Lindsey Grant, color, material, and finish design manager, Global Chevrolet. “The Jet Black and Adrenaline Red complement each other well as they run through the dash, center console and seats, drawing a dramatic separation between the driver and passenger areas.”

One huge change for the seats is that customers can now mix and match the seating styles with a new Asymmetrical Adrenaline Red interior. Buyers can spec a racing-inspired Adrenaline Red Competition Driver’s Seat and a Jet Black GT2 passenger seat.
For those who love the interior sueded microfiber can now get it on nearly every interior surface with you select the Ultimate Suede interior package.

And finally, check out this new electrochromic roof option which allows customers to change the tint level of their targa roof glass at the press of a button – selecting between full, medium, and low tint options.
Some additional highlights for the 2026 Corvette include the following:
- Corvette ZR1’s ZTK performance package will be equipped with an all-new brake package featuring 10-piston front and 6-piston rear calipers, and carbon ceramic discs – all of which are the largest ever fitted to a production Corvette.
- Blue brake calipers, currently available on ZR1, will be available on E-Ray and Z06.
- Body color rocker panels are now standard on E-Ray and available on Z06.
- A new asymmetrical exterior center stripe is available in Edge Red/Carbon Flash.
- The button to activate Charge+, which enables E-Ray drivers to replenish battery life more quickly or sustain battery charge for a track session, has been relocated to the steering wheel. Located just below the Z Mode button, Charge+ now has a more prominent location for ease of use.
Chevrolet is expected to start production of the new 2026 Corvettes on Monday, August 4th. The first order cycle of the 2026 model year is expected to begin on June 26th.
These changes really seem to show that GM has put a lot of thought into the interior updates, but there is still more to see as they didn’t share all of the new interior colors. Based on what you’ve seen here, are you excited with this mid-cycle upgrade? Is there something that you really like or dislike? Now is your turn to sound off in the comments below!
