INDIANAPOLIS —
Carrier is excited to announce the relaunch of its geothermal heat pump product line, featuring significant innovations and updates designed to enhance performance, efficiency, and serviceability. Carrier is a part of Carrier Global Corporation, global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions.

Carrier’s geothermal systems leverage the earth’s natural thermal energy, providing an energy-efficient solution for heating and cooling. These systems can save homeowners 33-65% in annual heating and cooling costs1 compared to traditional HVAC systems. Additional benefits include more consistent comfort, longer lifespans often exceeding 20 years, and versatile installation configurations to suit different property sizes and conditions.

The updated geothermal product family includes several key enhancements:

1. Deluxe Communicating Models: These models offer advanced communication capabilities designed for seamless integration and optimal performance.

2. Two-Stage Operation for Entry-Level Models: This feature provides improved efficiency and comfort by allowing the system to operate at two different capacities.

3. Smaller Footprints and Lighter Units: The new designs have reduced the unit weight by an average of one hundred pounds, making them easier to handle and install.

4. Easier-to-Service Design: The redesigned chassis allows for more convenient access to system components, including a slide-out blower and evaporator coil, and a hinged electrical panel.

5. Puron Advance Refrigerant: The new units incorporate Puron Advance refrigerant, which includes built-in A2L refrigerant dissipation systems to comply with global warming potential regulations.

Technicians will appreciate simplified access to critical components such as the slide-out blower, vertical slide-out evaporator coils, and a hinged electrical box. The active dissipation systems provide alerts and notifications, making troubleshooting and repairs more straightforward. These improvements are designed to reduce the time and effort required for servicing the units, helping to lower maintenance costs, and enhancing the overall service experience for both technicians and homeowners.

Carrier has also provided a comprehensive launch kit that includes marketing materials, selling tips, and technical support resources to help dealers and contractors successfully promote and install these innovative systems.
